Double Whammy

edit

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Double Whammy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it may not satisfy Wikiquote's criteria for inclusion, for the reasons given in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikiquote is not" and Wikiquote's deletion policy).

You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Votes for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ~ Ningauble 16:52, 2 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Star Wars edits

edit

The standard line from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope is "Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed. The ability to destroy a planet, is insignificant next to the power of the Force." This you keep altering to : "Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed. The ability to destroy a planet, or even a whole system, is insignificant next to the power of the Force." Others have removed this, and I just did — and IF it is a variant in some edition it should be cited specifically as such — it is not the version I am aware of. ~ Kalki·· 23:59, 18 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

You should watch yourself with your rather arrogant edit summaries too Hall. "Leave this alone" and anything to that effect doesn't quite cut it and if this was WP - be thankful you don't get rapped for owning. --Eaglestorm (talk) 15:48, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I have the same issue with your edits to Episodes I and III, Adam. You've modified several lines with additions that I've never seen anywhere else, and reverted it when I tried to remove them. Your additions to Episode I lines are clearly based on the novellization, and do not belong in the article for the film. If you have a source for the Episode III additions, please clarify it in the talk page; otherwise, please stop reverting the corrections. Wolfson (talk) 19:19, 6 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
As requested above, please refrain from changing the lines for this film to something not in the film. Also, do not remove sections of dialogue just because you feel they are unneeded. Thanks. ~ UDScott (talk) 19:42, 6 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

"Your father was betrayed and murdered by the man he himself became." That quote is not in any version of Return of the Jedi.

I am sick and tired of your truly pathetic additions to Revenge of the Sith. If those lines are not in the film, they should not be written in those articles, not at all! Stop trying to put them back in. We will just keep trying to take them out.

Hey man, please. We haven't seen yet The Rise of Skywalker. You had the luck to see it on the premiere, but plkease, respect all of us who haven't seen yet. You didn't need to write that Hayden spoiler in the article's history!!! 190.233.181.166 22:29, 17 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Censoring profanity

edit

It is not your place to alter dialogue for content. The purpose of this website is to quote accurately, not sanitize dialogue that might be too strong for some degenerate Puritan's idea of what children should be capable of handling. I've repaired all I could of the horrific vandalism you committed against Casino (film), but I don't know what other horrors you might have wrought in the name of decency (or whatever your motivation is). Please go back and undo any other bowdlerizations you may have created elsewhere. Thank you. ☯.ZenSwashbuckler.☠ 18:33, 4 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Obscenity is not a reason to remove a quote

edit

What you did on The Return of the Jedi page, for the reason that you cited, is called censorship; a problem is appears others have noted. Evidently you have no problem with the quotes notability, only that you think it obscene. If you don't mind me asking, why is Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace not a family film comparable to Pirates of the Caribbean? CensoredScribe (talk) 19:01, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

I've opened an ANI discussion about you to discuss this matter with the community. [1] CensoredScribe (talk) 19:12, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

What is wrong with your Star Wars edits?

edit

What is wrong with you, AdamDeanHall? Seriously, what is wrong with you? All those years, you keep vandalizing many articles of the Star Wars films by adding in random quotes that are not heard or shown in any form in the films, and you keep adding them without any reason at all. And even when The Last Jedi is out, you still haven't learned anything, as you kept adding in yet another quote that's not heard in the film. That line by Rey, "He caused so much death and destruction for many years.", is not in the film. My advice to you is to give up on vandalizing every single Star Wars article on Wikiquote, because that's all you are, AdamDeanHall: a vandal.

Goodness me, you are most definitely blind and deaf as a bat, AdamDeanHall, as evidenced by your recent change to The Last Jedi. You said Hux said "Leader" instead of "Ruler", but you were completely 100% incorrect. Glad they changed it back, and your idiotic changes have been foiled once more.

Hi Hall. I came in here to report the edit war between me and Eagle. As I've tried to revert my edits back to your current version of Revenge of the Sith, Eagle changes it back, thinking I was crayoning. Eventually, I warned him for if the fight kept going on, I would report this to you. Can you sort it out as soon as possible, thanks. - Christian M. 18:42, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Hall. Join me. Now. I'm nearly getting forced in being blocked by Dawg and Eagle - Christian M. 01:06, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I believe this will answer your question. DawgDeputy (talk) 00:19, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
HAHAHA... "Hi Hall. Join me. Now." Talk about bossing people into joining your poor excuse of a cause. It's laughable yet embarrassing. Semi-active and afraid of being blocked. Sure, sockpuppet. --Eaglestorm (talk) 06:35, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello AdamDeanHall, I've stopped IPs and non-autoconfirmed users from editing this page. That should help stop the disruption you're seeing on your talkpage. Is the profanity in the actual Striptease movie or not?

If you think that the profanity and vulgarity is in the actual Striptease movie, then why would I keep objecting to that? AdamDeanHall (talk) 04:34, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
