King of the Railway is a 2013 direct-to-video CGI-animated comedy adventure film of the TV series, Thomas & Friends. The film's CGI animation is by Arc Productions. This special takes place between Season 16 and 17.

Dialogue

[Gordon and Spencer are having their race when two streamlined locomotives past them in a flash]

Spencer: [surprised] Who are those?!

Gordon: Don't ask me, i don’t see--

[Gordon and Spencer both stop at a signal where they meet the two streamlined engines called Connor and Caitlin who arrive on the railway]

Connor: Good morning, my name is Connor.

Caitlin: My name is Caitlin, we come for the opening of Ulfstead Castle to bring passengers from the Mainland.

Connor: This is our test run and time trial, we're just having a our race here. Care to join us?

Diesel: Hello, get out of the way, you silly too-small tank engine, we’re the diesel engines who have work to do here at the North Western Railway.

Stephen: Well so do I, Mr. Oily.

Paxton: Diesel is Mr. Oily.
