Quote of the DayEdit

When you add suggestions for Quote of the Day, as you did for April 9, remember to sign your name and add your vote. - InvisibleSun 15:56, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Though it is not as yet a matter of any set policy, it has long been recommended practice that only one suggestion for QOTD per year be designated with a 4 by any voter, indicating that it "certainly" should be used — as this implies a sense of immediacy that lesser rankings do not. Too much use of the 4 ranking rather deflates the significance of a 4, and untempered use of it, without moderated consideration, would allow the momentary impulses of a single person to have disproportionately lasting influences for years thereafter. ~ Kalki 13:53, 14 April 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Shabbat editing prohibitionEdit

Please indicate your normal timezone on your username, just in case I or another editor accidentally edit during your shabbat. Thanks. --User:Tryst (talk to me!) 20:55, 9 July 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Is there maybe a template or something for that? --SuperJew (talk) 11:03, 20 July 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

How I Met Your Mother‎Edit

It's unfortunate that an edit war occurred - a better explanation should have been provided (as you requested). In this case, it's better to refer you to WQ:LOQ - LOQ stands for Limits on quotations. For TV shows like this one, 2 quotes per episode are the limit. Thanks. ~ UDScott (talk) 13:50, 2 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think you should give up on your nonsense reversions because frankly, that's all you've been good at nowadays. Nice try with your delusional accusations of me monopolizing the article. You're nothing more than a butthurt loser. Get lost you rat! --Eaglestorm (talk) 08:16, 27 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

So much for being nice to fellow users... SuperJew (talk) 16:12, 28 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thank you for your lame comebacks and you think using my edit summaries back at me works? You're still a troll clouding the article.
My supposedly "continued retardness"? Kid, the only one expressing that around these parts is YOU with your dumb ignorance of LOQ and trying to ramrod your quote when its not even that notable to begin with. Screw your drama-series arguments and its kinda pathetic of you when the only edits you've been doing these past couple of weeks is about that quote when you can probably be more useful in other articles. Begone. --Eaglestorm (talk) 18:31, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm sorry oh great mister know it all. I didn't realize you were following me as well. or that it wasted so much precious time to revert your idiotic reversions. so anyways, who died and made you king? --SuperJew (talk) 06:57, 31 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
As the edit wars between you and another user continue (with continued hostile edit summaries), you are temporarily blocked from editing. Once this block expires, please refrain from this behavior and work to come to some sort of compromise or agreement. Thanks. ~ UDScott (talk) 14:51, 2 January 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sarcasm. The defense of the butthurt and outright whiners. I didn't realize you were such a fool who thinks his "funnier quote" should stay. Work on other articles instead. Thank you. --Eaglestorm (talk) 03:52, 5 January 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The Bill Engvall ShowEdit

Since you're so hell-bent on getting off through the act of following and thwarting my every action on Wikiquote- even on pages I started- you might as well find something actually worthwhile to do with your time. I'll go with the two-quotes-per-page thing, that's policy, but quit messing with what quotes I do leave- you didn't even show any interest in this page until I created it and put one or two too many quotes. Alexandervonweimann (talk) 23:16, 21 September 2015‎ (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi. I'm just trying to keep the pages up to standard. What did I do that offended you apart from keeping the quotes at 2 per episode? If by mistake, I removed a quote you liked, you are more than welcome to return it so long as you only have 2 quotes per episode.
The square brackets and indenting changes I did are standard to Wikiquote.
And please sign your posts on talk pages. Thanks.
Cheers, --SuperJew (talk) 08:45, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Also please refrain from personal attacks such as "you're so hell-bent on getting off" per WQ:NPA.
Furthermore, the fact that you created the page does not give you ruling over it or over the policy affecting it. This is a communal website, where everyone can participate and contribute in the framework of the policies.
--SuperJew (talk) 08:49, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sorry, the rudeness was over the line- and yes, I am aware that I don't have sole claim on a page just because I opened it. All the same, if you are following my every move on Wikiquote only for the sake of correcting my every mistake, please stop.
Also, if anything, I would suggest talking to Eaglestorm about online attacks, as he seems to have done you far more insult than I have. Isn't persistent hostile behavior a blockable offense? Or have you already had him blocked before?
Best wishes, Alexandervonweimann (talk) 22 September 2015 (UTC)
Apology accepted. The story between Eaglestorm and I is between us. If you are interested, from what I recall we were both in the wrong and both temporarily blocked. --SuperJew (talk) 17:46, 23 September 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Supergirl (TV series) pageEdit

Greetings, SuperJew.

There is now a Supergirl TV series page in Wikiquote: Supergirl (TV series). The only quotes are for the "Worlds Finest" episode, there's only one external link (I'm not a Hulu or IMDb subscriber) and I accidentally created a page template before making the page through the Help page. But, hey, it's my first page! :'(

Anyway... go wild, love child. Have fun with it, and spread the word. :D

Legend of Tomorrow opening voiceoversEdit

Greetings, SuperJew.

Regarding Season 2's opening voiceovers on Legends: I suspect that the creators are having each character/cast member do a V/O of his/her own, particularly since this season is only scheduled for 16 episodes like season 1. And, since Rip isn't around right now, that seems to be a safe bet. Maybe villains like Damien Darhk and Eobard Thawne will be pitching in. (the mind races, does it not?)

That said, I believe that each episodes individual opening V/O can be put above the individual episode's entry in Wikiquotes without violating the LoQ. This is a unique circumstance, in that other shows (not just "Arrowverse" shows) haven't done anything like this. Also, the opening V/O isn't a "quote" in the strictest sense, so I don't see any real violation.

Anyway, just thought I'd add my 2 cents. Let's talk further, 'kay?

Take it easy.

Ooznoz (talk) 13:26, 28 October 2016 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

Hey Ooznoz, I was just about to drop you a line after adding the quotes :)
I was thinking along the same lines. I was thinking we should wait till the end of the season to see what we're working with. If let's say only the Legends will have v/o and they'll be repeated, maybe just have a section for voiceovers? that's why I kept it but commented. --SuperJew (talk) 13:29, 28 October 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, it's possible they'll cycle back and repeat one or more as the season goes on. We'll have to see, although if they do do that, it'll probably show up midway through the season. I don't think a separate section is needed for individualized V/Os. That could just be confusing, unless they keep this up over the course of the entire series (I feel a headache coming on). Just need to wait and see, I suppose. This is your page, your baby. I'm just here to help. Ooznoz (talk) 13:42, 28 October 2016 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
It's everyone's page, I don't own it. I really appreciate your help and thoughts. Let's for now keep them commented until the end of the season and then we'll discuss it? --SuperJew (talk) 13:54, 28 October 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Okay by me. Talk to you later. Ooznoz (talk) 15:31, 28 October 2016 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
@Ooznoz: I noticed that on WQ:LOQ it says Quotes not assigned to specific characters are discarded. I wonder if the voiceovers would be in that category? --SuperJew (talk) 20:22, 30 October 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@SuperJew: I would say they aren't. These are opening narrations - Think "Space - the final frontier" or the openings for The Prisoner. They aren't "assigned" to Kirk or Number 6, nor are any other openings "assigned" to the character(s) saying them. They are just the openers. But, that's just my take on it -- we may need to have a consensus reached on this before going further. Let me know what develops. (Sorry I took so long to respond, been preoccupied.) Ooznoz (talk) 19:10, 6 November 2016 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

Greetings from OoznozEdit

Greetings, SuperJew.

Bad news: my home computer went belly up, so I won't be able to help you much with the quotes pages for Arrowverse. I can still use other computers, but my access is limited and I won't be able to do much to contribute for quite a while. Sorry about that.

Hope you have a festive holiday season. Talk later.

Ooznoz (talk) 22:20, 21 November 2016 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

That's a real shame Ooznoz. Your edits are really helpful. I'm also right now on a bit of a slower rate, since uni schedule is getting back into full swing. Hope you'll be back fully soon! --SuperJew (talk) 22:24, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

New page: Invasion! (Arrowverse)Edit

Greetings, SuperJew.

Just added a new page of quotes: Invasion! (Arrowverse). Look it over. Soak it in. Enjoy (I hope). Let me know what you think.

Talk to you later. Thanks.

Ooznoz (talk) 12:24, 5 December 2016 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: I'm wondering about it's notability, as a few episodes, and also it's just a repetition of stuff found on the relevant season pages, no? --SuperJew (talk) 17:39, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

No, it's not all repetition. Just those that are relevant to the main topic, i.e., the Dominators' invasion and the heroes reaction to it, during and after (which is what I limited the quotes to). Plus, the main Wiki has a page devoted to this crossover (Invasion! (Arrowverse)), so I believe Wikiquotes should have a corresponding one.

Ooznoz (talk) 20:06, 5 December 2016 (UTC)OonozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: It's not something I've even ever considered, so I'm not sure.
@UDScott: Could we have your thoughts about it? --SuperJew (talk) 20:08, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Greetings, SuperJew. Hope this isn't on the Sabbat. You and I are on different time zones, and I can't quite figure out the conversion. As I write this, it's after 8:00 p.m. on Saturday night.

Thanks for the LOTR clip, it was fun to watch. And thanks also for the reference; I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise. You're not the first to strongly recommend that I read/watch LOTR. Sword & Sorcery has never really been my thing. I have read some of the Conan stories and did try to start LOTR, but never got too far into them. But, if I have a 3-day weekend to kill and have nothing else, I'll see about giving it a try.

I have been reading superhero comics since I was a zygote, and I've been reading about them and the genre my adult life. I have an extensive reference library on superheroes which I keep adding to as finances allow. I've also watched superhero movies and TV shows since I was a kid. I remember the original Super Friends show and Challenge of the Super Friends that introduced the Legion of Doom. (Yes, I am that old. And that pathetic. lol) BTW, the Legends episode "The Legion of Doom" is the BEST one they've done yet. If only the series had started out that good.... And, I watched The Flash series from 1990 and was sorry it didn't continue. John Wesley Shipp as Jay Garrick is inspired casting.

On that subject, I need to bounce an idea off someone of like mind. I believe Jay knows more about Savitar and Iris's fate than he's let on. Not that he's a Reverse-Flash/Zoom-type mole (enough with that), but there were several odd things dropped in his appearance in the mid-season Xmas episode:

1. He knew far more about Savitar than seemed credible. Even Barry seemed to question it. 2. He tells Barry to appreciate the ones he loves "while you still have them". That seemed a damned odd thing to say. 3. He was the one who insisted on taking on Savitar alone while Barry retrieved the Stone. 4. Savitar tells Jay "This is not your fight, Garrick." How does Savitar know Jay at all? Jay said earlier he'd never encountered him, only knew of him. 5. It was Jay's suggestion to throw the Philosopher's Stone into the Speed Force, and rather abruptly at that. Why did he think that that would be a good thing to do?

I may be reading too much into little things, but those moments seemed like clues to something to me. Maybe something will come of it, maybe not, but it is a possibility. What do you think? And, are there any others you know of who might have an opinion?

Anyway, thanks again for the clip. Hope to talk to you later.

Ooznoz (talk) 01:45, 5 February 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

Hey Ooznoz :)
You're alright with the Sabbath. I'm guessing you're on the US East Coast? My time zone is currently +2, so it's a 7 hour difference. Anyways, I don't have a problem with people writing to me on the Sabbath, I just want them to be aware that I won't reply until afterwards (and now I noticed I've updated my message on my Wikipedia page but not here, so I'm doing that now. Also understood why your first message went to my commons page.. fixed that too.
Regarding the LOTR books, I know a lot of people who didn't manage to deal with the books (I myself struggled with a bunch of the more boring chapters), but who thoroughly enjoyed the movie. For a first Tolkein reading experience I'd recommend The Hobbit.
I'm happy to hear Legends is getting great. This month, I have less time than usual to keep up-to-date as I'm (allegedly) studying for exams.
Hmm your points about Jay do seem to point toward him being a Zoom-type mole, but indeed that is a tiring plot device already so I really hope not. Personally, I find it hard to take any implications too seriously on shows which have time-travel (and are about loosey with any rules governing it).
Take care and thanks for helping keep the pages updated (especially at this period of the uni year), --SuperJew (talk) 08:13, 5 February 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Savitar vs. Future BarryEdit

Greetings, SuperJew.

Just saw you edit on "I Know Who You Are" and I need to ask about it.

Now that Savitar has been revealed to be Barry (or "a" Barry) From the future, how should he be called? I left it as Savitar/Future Barry for that very reason. Should he still be called "Savitar" on this page now that he's been revealed, even if later episodes call him "Barry"? Or should he be termed as some variant of "Barry"?

(BTW, I did change the future Barry in "The Once and Future Flash" from "Future Barry" to "2024 Barry" to differentiate him from the future Barry who is Savitar.)

Let me know what you think. Thanks, and hope to hear back soon.

Ooznoz (talk) 22:16, 3 May 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

Hey Ooznoz, as always very much appreciate all your help :)
I think for it should stay as Savitar, because that's how he and the rest of the show refer to him. If they start referring to him as "Future Barry" maybe that would be precedent to change, but I have a feeling they'll keep calling him Savitar. --SuperJew (talk) 14:34, 4 May 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, I see the point. Let's just leave it as is for now and make any changes as upcoming episodes dictate. :) Talk to you later. 16:14, 4 May 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
Okay, you were right. Unarmored Savitar is still being called Savitar. He even rejects the name "Barry" in the trailer. So, Savitar it is, even when he's out of his suit. :) Ooznoz (talk) 01:26, 10 May 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
Haha fantastic :) --SuperJew (talk) 17:45, 10 May 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Greetings from Ooznoz 2.0Edit

Greetings, SuperJew. Ooznoz here.

Hope you were satisfied with the finales last week. Supergirl was fairly predictable, and a little disappointing. I was so hoping Kara would have to send Mon-El into the Phantom Zone like he was in the comics. Who knows, maybe that's where his pod ended up. And I have no idea who Reign is, so I can't figure out what the ending was supposed to be about. Flash was good, although again, predictable. (Damn you, internet !! lol) I have my own theory on how Barry comes back, but it will be interesting to see how they work it. And Arrow -- now THAT'S how you do a cliffhanger! I wonder if the creators will have the stones to actually make this a clean slate for Oliver and start anew... Naaah. But, this is a good place to thin the herd, so to speak, and make for tighter stories. We'll see...

Been a pleasure working on the Arrowverse pages with you. Trust we'll have just as much to work with come the next CW season.

I hope your summer is enjoyable. Mine is nothing but work, work, work. I hope to be creating a couple of new pages myself in the near future, so be on the lookout.

Well, as Isaak said to Dexter, "Till next time". Take care.

Ooznoz (talk) 00:45, 31 May 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

Hey :) Glad you enjoyed them. I've actually only watched the Supergirl finale. I'm a couple of episodes behind with Arrow and Flash cause my uni workload is super crazy busy right now.. Hopefully I'll have some time to catch up soon. :) But I'm super excited that Slade is gonna be back! It has been amazing having you work with me on the pages! --SuperJew (talk) 17:41, 31 May 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oh, wow. Sorry about that. I hope I haven't spoiled anything too badly for you. But I'll just say you will like the others, especially Arrow. And good luck with uni. Take it easy. Ooznoz (talk) 13:18, 1 June 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
That's alright, I've seen most of what you've said on the Facebook pages... ;) --SuperJew (talk) 13:25, 1 June 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ok Ooznoz, saw the Flash and Arrow finales. Flash was good, but that Arrow finale! HOLY SHIT 😮 --SuperJew (talk) 21:48, 7 June 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I KNOW, right?! Who lives, who dies, who gets pink slipped? lol The only thing for certain is Katie Cassidy is slated for Season 6 as Black Siren, so that would be an interesting dynamic if she were the only survivor. But, yeah, you're right, HOLY SHIT indeed. Prometheus is the perfect villain. Always ten steps ahead, and he wins. Arrow is back! Ooznoz (talk) 22:27, 7 June 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
It was actually so good, I'm wondering if I want it to just end, because it can't get better... --SuperJew (talk) 11:52, 8 June 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
True. I don't think the world is ready for a season of Oliver trying to be a father to William. [shudders] lol Ooznoz (talk) 12:03, 8 June 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
Hahahaha 😂 --SuperJew (talk) 12:28, 8 June 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

So Ooznoz, was your theory on how Barry gets back correct? --SuperJew (talk) 11:37, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

No, SuperJew, it wasn't. I thought they'd go the Mark Waid "Barry pulls himself out of the Speed Force when Iris gets in danger." Still, having Team Flash do it is appropriate, if predictable. What did you think? --Ooznoz (talk) 13:19, 11 October 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
Ooznoz, Team Kid Flash you mean? ;) Well that was pretty much what did they did except he pulled himself out of whatever mind-muddled state he was in. I would've liked at least one full episode where they have to get along without Barry, but apart from that seems they're setting up this season to be light and fun again, like in season 1, so I'm excited for this season :) --SuperJew (talk) 13:24, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
SuperJew Ha, yeah, Team Vibe. ;) What I was expecting was for them to get along without Barry and pretty much give up hope until a big rescue was needed and Barry freed himself. But with the Speed Force prison needing an occupant, perhaps this was the way to go. I agree, they seem to be setting up for a lighter season this year, but all the darkness isn't gone. Caitlin/Killer Frost is still active and looks to be pretty badass. --Ooznoz (talk) 13:29, 11 October 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
Oh my gosh, I'm loving Caitlin now. --SuperJew (talk) 13:40, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Marvel SeriesEdit

Greetings, SuperJew.

Got your message. Sadly, no, I can't watch the Marvel series because I don't have Netflix. Can't afford it right now. I have heard good things about them, though, and I've seen a couple of Daredevil clips on YouTube (because I'm a fan of Vincent D'Onofrio from Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and I wanted to see him as the Kingpin). Thanks for asking, though. Talk to you later. Ooznoz (talk) 11:33, 28 July 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

Ooznoz I actually also don't have Netflix... I watch them online :O Yes, Vincent D'Onofrio is fantastic and the best thing about DD. --SuperJew (talk) 11:44, 28 July 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
SuperJew I didn't know that was possible. Can it be done for free online? I can't really afford to pay for YouTube, Amazon etc. either. I'm a paycheck-to-paycheck kind of wage slave. lol Made it all the more disappointing when I saw how good V. D'O is. Thanks. Ooznoz (talk) 13:39, 28 July 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
Try streaming websites... like Project Free TV. It's sometimes a bit of hit-and-miss on the quality, but it gets me by --SuperJew (talk) 13:41, 28 July 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks for the tip. I'll let you know if it works. Are YOU enjoying the Marvel series? Which are good and which aren't worth my time? DD looks good, but I'm not up on the others. Ooznoz (talk) 16:29, 28 July 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
I enjoyed most Jessica Jones, after that Luke Cage. I didn't really enjoy the 1st season of DD (except for Kingpin) but I heard the 2nd one is supposed to be better (haven't gotten around to it yet). I just started Iron Fist (3 seasons in), and it's just passable so far. --SuperJew (talk) 21:32, 29 July 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Good to know all this, thanks. My home computer can't access any free sites, BUT I will be house sitting for some people in September, and they have Netflix. So, I'll be able to binge watch at least DD and maybe Iron Fist before the CW series premiere in October. I'll let you know what I think. Just remembered: I still have season 1 of "Gotham" on DVD which I won on EBay (real cheap). Need to get on that ASAP. ;-) And I am keeping an eye on EBay for last season's Arrowverse shows on DVD; you can get some GREAT deals that way. Call me old-fashioned, I like to watch DVDs. -- Ooznoz (talk) 00:57, 30 July 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
Haha enjoy it :D --SuperJew (talk) 04:51, 30 July 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
SuperJew, I'm afraid I wasn't able to see any of "Daredevil" season 1. Hurricane Irma came through Florida and wrecked those plans. :( Still, Season 2 is available on DVD, so I'm going to try and score a copy from EBay.

The GiftedEdit

SuperJew, Greetings.

Thanks for the "Welcome Back." Glad to see you have TV. I haven't seen "The Gifted" yet, but I'm sure the first episode in On Demand in my area, so I'll try and catch it. I'd be happy to help you with a quote page, but are you sure want to start one right away? I considered doing a page for the Doctor Who spin-off Class, but after watching part of the first episode, I wasn't too thrilled with the show and waited. Now, it's not been renewed. I don't want to throw water on any plans of yours -- I believe you when you say it's good -- I'm just recommending waiting to see if it continues to be. Still, like I said, I'm very willing to help out with any page you want to create for it. Just let me know. :D --Ooznoz (talk) 13:59, 11 October 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: I created for now a base line (with snippets from the episode I just watched) - will flesh it out after the upcoming current Jewish holiday is over. --SuperJew (talk) 14:14, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Crisis on Earth-X pagesEdit

Greetings, SuperJew. Ooznoz here, hoping you're enjoying the "Crisis on Earth-X" crossover.

Man, this is a TRUE crossover, with scenes in one show by another show's characters that would fit right in with their show. The mind races as to how the creators coordinated all of that. I hope the next two shows have a great payoff. As you may have seen, I've already put quotes into Supergirl and Arrow and plan to do so for The Flash and LOT. Now, you may not be agreeing with my selections, but before you make any wholesale changes, I wanted to explain the method to my madness.

As I said, there are tons of really good quotes that need to be featured, such as Joe's rehearsal dinner toast (a must). But, as before, many of these quotes are from different characters guest-starring in another's show. Joe's speech, for example, properly belongs on the Flash page, but was featured on the Supergirl hour and would, I believe, look totally out of place on the Supergirl page. Same goes for Flash and LOT characters.

That's why I only put in quotes that pertained specifically with Supergirl and Arrow characters, and will do so with The Flash and LOT. "But Ooz," you ask, "what about all those other great quotes?" That's the other part of my master plan.

I intend to create a separate "Crisis on Earth-X" page, similar to the ones I made for Invasion! (Arrowverse) and Duet (The Flash). (Have a read - I won't mind. lol) There, I will place all the worthy quotes from other characters on that page and link it with the main Wiki article, and maybe the other shows' pages as well. That way, the main characters are featured on their specific pages and the guest cast have their own page. I would have started it, so you could see how it works, but I have a limited amount of time before I have to go to bed. (I'm over fifty; getting old sucks. :P)

Anyway, let me know what you think and see how this all comes out. Take care and hope to hear back soon.

Ooznoz (talk) 05:53, 28 November 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: I haven't watched it yet... going to get to it tonight after uni. Really looking forward to it though!
Regarding the cross-over pages, it sounds like a good idea, but I'm not sure about how it works with the WQ:LOQ policy. Let me ping an admin here and get a more experienced opinion..
@UDScott: Could we get some insight into the above question from you, regarding creating a page for a crossover event? --SuperJew (talk) 07:46, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I like the idea as well of highlighting such crossover events, but the main problem (as you've suggested) is how many quotes are then used on multiple pages. Looking at the Invasion! (Arrowverse) page, I already see a problem. That page contains quotes that are also duplicated on the other TV show pages (as well as some additional quotes not on the show pages). This creates redundancy that we usually try to avoid, but it also leads to overquoting, since the total number of quotes from a given episode should conform to WQ:LOQ. This is similar to debates people have had regarding pages for individual characters (especially supporting characters). The problem arose there as well, where overquoting and duplication started occurring. The solution in the end was to make the character pages redirects to the works in which they appeared. The problem with the crossover events is that by their nature, the quotes are on multiple shows and so a simple redirect would not work. Perhaps a disambig page could work, to direct users to multiple pages (but that's really not a very fun solution either). Frankly, I am not sure what the answer is. If duplication and overquoting could somehow be controlled, these pages could remain, but perhaps someone out there has a more elegant idea. I would recommend moving this discussion to the Village pump to open it up to the larger community for ideas. Sorry I could not be more helpful. ~ UDScott (talk) 15:47, 29 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Ooznoz, UDScott: Without even having watched the full thing, (3 out of 4), it seems to me quite clear that the cross-over is stylised uniquely - it has it's own intro, doesn't have the other shows intros, and the placing of each episode in a certain show is meaningless and interchangeable. What if we make a crossover page for "Crisis on Earth-X", and the section for each episode on it's respective show (technically speaking) we'll have a redirect to that page? --SuperJew (talk) 23:11, 29 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
And these pages are patrolled by myself and Ooz, so there shouldn't be a problem with duplication/overquoting. --SuperJew (talk) 23:12, 29 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@SuperJew, UDScott: I agree with SuperJew -- this crossover is structured more like a two-night mini-series, just like ones from back in the day. (The creators did a very good job with it this time out.) It's a unique television event, so it should be treated a bit differently.
I have no intention of duplicating quotes on the proposed "Crisis" page. There, I plan to use memorable quotes that were actually made by guest cast (which may involve the main cast as well), while leaving more show-specific quotes on the regular shows' pages. Once I get the "Crisis" page up, you'll see how effective, inclusive and comprehensive I believe it will be. (The overlap in "Invasion!" was totally my fault; I was never happy with that, nor with the placement and inclusion of certain quotes on certain pages, and I didn't hit upon the solution until this crossover. If I ever get access to the full episodes again, I plan to correct matters.) Also, it's no problem to add a "See also" line at the bottom of each show's section cross-referencing the other pages and the "Crisis" page.
I'll create the page, so that everyone can see the intent. Some parts may end up as base lines, so you, SuperJew, can make any additions I leave out or can't find/decide on. The, if necessary, we can have an open discussion about the finished product and proceed from there. :) I should have it done in the next couple of days - been having some personal issues which keep me from doing it.
Talk later. Thanks. Ooznoz (talk) 00:42, 30 November 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
@SuperJew: Okay, it's done. The page and the cross-references. Let the pile-on begin! ;) lol Ooznoz (talk) 07:37, 3 December 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
@Ooznoz, UDScott: My question here is still about WQ:LOQ. In the current format, each episode has 10 quotes on Wikiquote project (5 per page). According to WQ:LOQ is the limit on per page or per the project? --SuperJew (talk) 19:06, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@SuperJew, UDScott: My feeling is that this is basically a 4-hour TV movie, or a two-part TV mini-series, which is very rare nowadays. It's also unique in its storytelling, as it intertwines plotlines from every show into all four episodes, which will continue into the individual shows. Given the glut of material here, and the uniqueness of the event, I feel the LOQ can be relaxed for this, and possibly future crossovers (a debate for a later time, I'm sure). I made DAMN sure there was no duplication or overlap in the quotes. I also tried to keep the "Crisis" page quotes more thematic and plotline oriented -- e.g., Barry & Iris's wedding, strong vs. weak philosophy, Stein's departure. This allows an event so chockablock with material to be well-represented, individually and overall. I believe this works in the larger sense, and gives readers/fans/researchers a broader scope to utilize or enjoy. Ooznoz (talk) 19:41, 3 December 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
@SuperJew, Ooznoz:I can see you've both put thought into this, but I just wanted to make one clarification. Yes, I am concerned about duplication, but even assuming that does not occur, the remaining issue is that there could be overquoting. The limit is intended to cover all quotes from an individual work (no matter on how many pages they appear). So if you quote from an episode as part of a crossover event, that same episode should have less quotes on the page for the show itself (which is difficult to maintain as other users may think that they can add them back up to 5 quotes per episode, not knowing about the crossover page). As I stated above, when I look at the Invasion! (Arrowverse), in particular the episode titled Invasion!, part one [The Flash episode 3.08], I see 5 quotes. But when I look at the same episode on the Flash show page (episode 3.08), I see two duplicates (already on the crossover page) and three new quotes - this brings the total of quotes from this episode that are quoted to 8, which is beyond the limits set for TV shows. This highlights the problems I mentioned - duplication and overquoting. Without frequent maintenance of the pages and trimming, I fear this problem will only grow as more crossover pages are created. Again, I am not against the concept, but these issues seem bound to happen. ~ UDScott (talk) 14:01, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Maybe the better way to do it is to have the crossover page, with 5 quotes, then on the individual show page for that episode, have no quotes, but a pointer to the crossover page. ~ UDScott (talk) 14:04, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@SuperJew, Ooznoz, UDScott: Agreed, including one episode in multiple places is not feasible. There are only two workable options – either (1) the crossover page has a redirect or disambiguation to the main article(s) or (2) the main article(s) link to the crossover page, with no quotes in the main article(s). I imagine that option (1) would be easier to maintain because the main articles would not appear to be missing episodes that someone will want to fill in. ~ Ningauble (talk) 16:38, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Ningauble, Ooznoz, UDScott: Thanks for the explanation about WQ:LOQ... that's what I wasn't sure about. In that case I think the best way would have the crossover page with the quotes separately and to have the show pages section of that episode link to it, as the crossover is very much a mini-series. --SuperJew (talk) 17:24, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Ningauble, UDScott, SuperJew: I will yield to the consensus here on the WQ:LOQ. I believe the best solution is Ningauble's 1st solution -- that the main "Crisis" article have redirects to the main pages; that way, the crossover will have the broadest scope of quotes without violating the WQ:LOQ. Since I've carried this banner the longest, I ask to be the one to make the corrections. I'll review all the pages, remove the episodes section from the "Crisis" page, make the redirect page more substantial, and put any pertinent quotes I believe need to remain (like Joe's speech) in the proper episodes. (The "Cast" section may need to be beefed up, now that it's not limited to just who was quoted. We'll see.) Sound good? :) ````Ooznoz
Oh, I'm sorry Ooznoz, I went ahead and made the changes, and only afterwards saw your comment here. I put the quotes on the Crisis article, as I think a) It's treated separately b) quotes not with characters from the episodes aren't out of place (on the show pages they seem slightly out of place, also unlike the previous crossovers, there isn't a unique show feeling, but as we said a mini-series feeling contained in itself) c) seems simpler and more intuitive to link 4 pages to 1 page than to redirect 1 page to 4 pages.
@Ningauble, UDScott: As I said I made the changes, with all the quotes on Crisis page. For each show I put a {{main|Crisis on Earth-X}} template and a editors' comment saying The quotes for this episode are on the page "Crisis on Earth-X", please make changes there to confirm with WQ:LOQ, which states 5 quotes per episode (for an hour long episode) on the project. Would appreciate feedback. Maybe should add a line of prose for the viewer explaining it? --SuperJew (talk) 18:52, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@SuperJew: Don't worry about it, friend. Probably better that way, anyway. I looked them over and you did a really good job. ````Ooznoz
@Ooznoz, SuperJew: This looks like a good solution to me. I made a couple of minor formatting tweaks, but the page looks good. Now I would recommend using this model on Invasion! (Arrowverse) and Duet (The Flash) as well as any other crossover type pages. Thanks! ~ UDScott (talk) 16:50, 5 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Holiday Message from OoznozEdit

Greetings, SuperJew.

Well, the CW has finalized Arrwverse for 2017. As always, The Flash and Arrow leave me wanting more, Supergirl has me stuck in neutral, and Legends has me shaking my head. lol

I just want to wish you a happy, festive and memorable Hanukkah in the upcoming week. Me, I plan to take a long winter's nap in advance of the upcoming Yuletide later this month.

Stay out of harm's way, my friend. Meet you back in 2018. Ooznoz (talk) 05:13, 8 December 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: Hi friend :)
I still need to catch up on the last episode of Arrow. Yeah, Flash was great, though I'm not sure I understand Barry's rationale for allowing himself to get arrested...
I like Reign on Supergirl, but it (even more than other comicbook shows) always has the question of "well, why aren't you calling your cousin Superman in to help with this insane threat?"
I'm enjoying Legends since they went all-in on the being silly and goofy.. being serious all the time wasn't working for them. But I will sure miss Jax, and hope he returns.
Have a merry Yuletide/Beebop Day/Odin Day/Hanukkah/Christmas holidays :D --SuperJew (talk) 07:30, 8 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Just caught up on Arrow! Damn that's some mid-season finale :O --SuperJew (talk) 09:21, 8 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@SuperJew: Hello again, friend. Don't get me wrong, I like this season of Supergirl; it's actually improving as a series. Just the mid-season finale ending wasn't that exciting. We all know she's going to live. Can't wait to see how they do the Legion on this show.

When Barry saw the photo of him and Iris, he knew he couldn't run out on her and their marriage, so he stayed and let the chips fall.

Arrow: Yeah, I did not see that coming. It's gong to be a long winter. :)

Let's agree to disagree on Legends. I hope they use Jax's departure to shake up the roster a little.

May the Beebop be with you this winter. Take care. Ooznoz (talk) 13:29, 8 December 2017 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

House (Season 6)Edit

Thanks for reverting my addition. I noticed the limitation of 5 quotes somewhat late. --Jarash (talk) 13:41, 24 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Jarash: That's alright :) If you think there's a better quote than the ones on the page, just makes sure to replace to stay in the quote limit. --SuperJew (talk) 15:05, 24 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Friendly message from OoznozEdit

Greetings, SuperJew.

Well, we now have to wait two weeks for new episodes of Flash and Arrow (Thank you, Winter Olympics !!), and about NINE WEEKS for Supergirl !!! :P Hope LOT is worth all this. ;)

Have you been watching any of Black Lightning? I have it on my DVR, but I've not gotten around to watching it yet. I'm reluctant to make a page for it just yet, even though it's supposed to be doing well, because it's still very new. It's the same reason I held off doing one for Class, the Doctor Who spin-off, and we all know how that turned out. Oh, well, we'll see.

Hope your exams went well for you. What is it you're studying, exactly? I'm not sure you ever related that to me. As for me, my job is getting ever more frustrating, which makes me contemplate a change. What, I'm not sure yet, but something's gonna give soon.

Anyway, you take care, and I'll talk at'cha later. Ooznoz (talk) 05:19, 11 February 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: Hey Ooz :) Thanks for the message! I'm actually only caught up only on Supergirl and with the rest I'm still at the mid-season finales because of the exams. Still have one left next week, and then might have to re-take one or two. I'm in my final year of a BSc in biology. I think it's worth making a page, even if it is only one season in the end. I heard from a friend that Black Lightning is good, so am looking forward to it. Take care mate! --SuperJew (talk) 06:10, 11 February 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Ooznoz: Hey man, just finished my first tests so having a little break before re-taking two exams. Just watched the first episode of Black Lightning, have you seen it yet? I feel it has a lot of Luke Cage elements, but it's not entirely the same. So far not too bad. I also started a page for it. Would be delighted to have you help me out on it. Cheers, --SuperJew (talk) 22:11, 18 February 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@SuperJew: No, I haven't seen Black Lightning yet. I have it all recorded on my DVR, just can't muster the energy to watch it. Since you've started a page, though, I'll check it out when I can and see if I can add any quotes to it. (Haven't seen Luke Cage, either; still don't have Netflix.) Good luck on your exam re-takes. Let me know how things turn out. Ooznoz (talk) 17:27, 19 February 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

The LOT Returns.Edit

Greetings, SuperJew.

Just to let you know, in case the Beebo Express hasn't reached you yet: Legends of Tomorrow returned to the CW last night. It had John Constantine in it, in case that interests you. I liked it all around - it didn't have near the high level of goofiness that the previous episodes of this season have had. And Kid Flash is will be a member for the back half !! Legends will be on Mondays for the next 8 weeks on Mondays, taking Supergirl 's time slot. Once its season ends, we get Kara back for the rest of her season.

Hope exams have worked out for you. Talk later. Ooznoz (talk) 00:23, 14 February 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@SuperJew: Hello again, friend.
I've not heard back from you. I hope things are OK on your end. If I have offended you somehow, in some way, I sincerely apologize! My online friendship with you is one I value, and I don't want to jeopardize it by doing something asinine.
So, hope things are all right with you. Hope to chat again. Ooznoz (talk) 02:37, 16 February 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
@Ooznoz: Sorry mate, I've been busy studying for an exam.. haven't been really fully functional.. Last exam this Sunday!
Hope Legends will be good, I like John Constantine. But I do feel it's a real shame (and quite a stupid decision actually) to have it on in Supergirl's slot. --SuperJew (talk) 06:08, 16 February 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@SuperJew: Good to hear from you. Don't let me distract you from exams. Study, study, study! Good luck. Ooznoz (talk) 12:36, 16 February 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

A Pox on the CW !!Edit

Greetings, SuperJew. Hope things are going well for you and that your exams all turned out okay.

So... Arrow doesn't return until March 29th. Flash doesn't come back until April 10th. And Supergirl doesn't resume until April 16th!!

[sigh] Only Legends remains....BAH !! (lol) (Thanks for the shoulder.)

Anyway, I have been liking all the shows so far. Even Legends is good (apart from this last one with Elvis :P). How are you liking them? Still haven't gotten around to Black Lightning yet, though when I do, I will add to your page. Promise.

I'm actually looking forward to Krypton on SyFy next week. This time, I'll get in on a series from the beginning. Just hope it's good -- hate to see it go wrong. Maybe you and I can get a page going for that if it's any good. :)

Talk to you later. Take care. Ooznoz (talk) 14:10, 14 March 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

Hey mate :) Yep, finished with exams on Sunday. Right now a bit busy helping my parents move house and then second semester starts next week. Hope I manage to catch up on all the shows (and I also wanted to catch Black Panther while it's still in the cinema) :) Krypton sounds promising and I hope it'll be good. Cheers man, thanks for the note :D --SuperJew (talk) 14:29, 14 March 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Remove boldface from most "Last words"Edit

Hello. Can you please weigh in and give your opinion at Wikiquote:Village pump#Boldface in all "last words"? There, I'm proposing to remove boldface from most quotes in Last words, Fictional last words, and their subpages. Details and reasons are given in the discussion itself. Thanks in advance. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 17:49, 18 March 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Greetings, SuperJew.

Oh, you're going to love this week's Legends. There's a scene in it that will make your LOTR heart explode. I won't spoil it for you, but just one word: Denethor.

Check it out. Take care. Ooznoz (talk) 14:06, 3 April 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: Haha thanks for thinking of me :) Yes, I heard John Noble is guest-starring. Unfortunately I'm still a few episodes backlogged. Didn't have much time for a break and now back at uni for second semester.. But I'll get there :) --SuperJew (talk) 16:48, 3 April 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oh, well... :D Anyway, good luck on the new semester. And you will like it. I did, and I've still not seen the films. Ooznoz (talk) 18:24, 3 April 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
Hey, if you can't wait that long, here's a link to the actual scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMG13wpiasE
Enjoy. Ooznoz (talk) 10:14, 4 April 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
Haha the vocal similarity to Mallus is uncanny :) I wonder why Rip? Love it! --SuperJew (talk) 11:39, 4 April 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Rip's a little slow. Had he thought about it, he would've realized: "Ah-HA! Mallus is... Australian !! :D Ooznoz (talk) 11:43, 4 April 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

Hi, Annoyed, I'm Dad. vs. I'm Gonna Kick My AssEdit

Greetings, SuperJew.

I saw your edit on "No Country for Old Dads" and I wanted to discuss it with you, not just make an edit or a reversion.

I agree that Darhk's "Hi, Annoyed, I'm Dad." joke is cute and is in character for him. But I believe that the "I'm gonna kick my ass" joke is better simply because it's more clever -- Darhk's really not joking (and may not even be aware of what he said), which makes the joke all the funnier.

Let me know your thoughts, please. Thanks. Talk later. Ooznoz (talk) 14:14, 5 April 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: I feel like the fun side is what Legends is really about and what makes it stand out from the rest of the shows currently, so I'd like to keep the dad joke. To include "I'm gonna kick my ass", I think maybe we can remove the first quote joking that they didn't notice Ray's gone - it's not that funny and kinda old by now. --SuperJew (talk) 14:58, 5 April 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Done and done. Thanks. Ooznoz (talk) 15:17, 5 April 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

Splitting up the "Arrow" pageEdit

Greetings, SuperJew, from Ooznoz.

Just wanted your opinion on something. What do you think about splitting the Arrow page into individual seasons, just like you have it for The Big Bang Theory? Since the page is now reallllllly long, with six seasons and another on the way, it may be better to have it split up, which could also be done later on shows like Flash and Legends once they get to a certain point.

Just a thought. Let me know what you think.

And, how'd you like that finale? Personally, I'm on the fence. It was good, but as a cliffhanger, I don't find it as compelling as it could be. I don't want to make any further comments, in case you haven't watched it in part or in full. But for me... meh. :)

Talk to you later. Ooznoz (talk) 20:19, 18 May 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: Hi mate :) As far as I know there aren't really rules about when to split a page. The recommendation I once got was from 8 seasons and up. But that might've been for a series with 20 min episodes, so maybe it makes sense for less for a 45 min episode show.
I'm kinda behind on my watching the series because of life etc. (in a good way), so haven't seen the finale yet. Hopefully will be able to catch up now over the summer break :) Take care and as always thanks so much for your help! --SuperJew (talk) 17:32, 20 May 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@SuperJew: Greetings, friend. I'm not clear on what the rule is, either. Seems that for a long-running hour-long series, it should be split up into individual pages if only to make quotes easier to find. {For a show like Supernatural which comes in at ten seasons and counting, that makes sense; you need a 124-inch screen to fit it all. lol) Since Arrow is going into season 7 and the page is quite long, I'll play around with splitting it. @UDScott:, what's your take on this?
Glad to hear life is treating you with dignity and respect, as my grandfather used to say. And don't get me wrong, the Arrow finale is good, very good. I'm just not feeling it as a cliffhanger. Don't be swayed by me, though. I'm looking forward to seeing how Flash 's finale plays out, then I'm taking a brief holiday from work to recharge. I have yet to watch Black Lightning (still is on my DVR) and I'm behind on Krypton, which has just ended. So, I've got catching up of my own to do.
Take it easy. Ooznoz (talk) 18:18, 20 May 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

Permission to copy.Edit

Do you mind that I am using '''Please keep in mind that I will not see edits on [[W:Shabbat|The Sabbath]] (Saturday), or on [[W:Jewish holiday|Jewish holidays]]'''. on my userpage? Til the next one.Edit

Greetings, SuperJew.

Well, another CW super-season has come to an end. As always, it's been a lot of fun. Hope university is still going well for you. Me, I'm spending my summer working and staying out of the heat. lol

There's a page on Wikipedia on Harrison Wells that I've been assisting with. Check it out if you have the chance.

Take care, my friend. Talk to you in the fall [if not sooner ;) ]. Ooznoz (talk) 02:52, 19 June 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: Thanks as always for all your help my friend. With my workload and backlog this season, the pages would've looked much emptier without you :) University is going well - I am finishing my BSc in a couple of months and have been accepted to veterinary school for next year. :D All the best and stay cool! --SuperJew (talk) 05:58, 19 June 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@SuperJew: Congratulations on your acceptance. I'm sure you'll do well. Good luck. :D Ooznoz (talk) 10:36, 19 June 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

Happy Hanukkah, my friend !!Edit

Greetings, SuperJew, from Ooznoz.

Here's wishing you and yours a joyous Hanukkah week. Hope you're doing well.

Well, the "Elseworlds" crossover is this weekend. I'll be able to watch it, since I've gotten a reprieve from the Fates (for however long :P). I'll be setting up the Elseworlds page and do the quotes for it; I so want to see John Wesley Shipp as the original 1990 Flash again. I remember watching that show when it first aired, so this will be a treat.

Take care. Hope to chat later.

Ooznoz (talk) 11:39, 3 December 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: Thank you so much for the warm greetings :) And a happy holidays to you as well. I'm actually super busy IRL with my studies and life, so haven't been watching much TV lately. I'm on episode 5 of Supergirl, and the rest I haven't watched at all this season, so don't know if I'll get to the crossover either haha. I'm sure that Shipp will great as Flash again and what I've seen on Amell's Facebook looks promising (pics of Oliver in the Flash suit are hilarious). Take care my friend! --SuperJew (talk) 13:33, 3 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

8 Hanukkah gifts for you :DEdit

Ooznoz (talk) 03:02, 6 December 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: Looks amazing!!! Hope I find time to see it :) Happy Holidays! --SuperJew (talk) 13:14, 6 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Greetings, SuperJew.
Hope your Hanukkah was festive and fun. Did you manage to catch any of the "Elseworlds" crossover? Man, the very last moment will make you flip out. Fair warning. :D The "Elseworlds" page is complete now, so check it out when you can.
Take care, my friend. Ooznoz (talk) 14:28, 13 December 2018 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]
Hey @Ooznoz: :) I didn't catch any of the crossover... only got a screenshot from a friend when the Legends complained they weren't invited to the annual crossover 😂 I had an anatomy mid-term. Studies are really keeping me busy this year (along with the little work I'm fitting in), so I'm not really up-to-date on my TV unfortunately 😭 Take care my friend! --SuperJew (talk) 16:25, 13 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Happy New Year from OoznozEdit

Greetings, SuperJew.

I trust you've survived your crushing schoolworkload and that 2019 is shaping up to be a good year for you.

I've finished binge-watching both The Flash and Legends and have updated the pages for both. I'll try to keep Flash up-to-date for as long as I'm able - still having work/financial troubles, so I'm not sure how long I've got, but I'll hang in there. ;) Hope you've had a chance to watch them, or at least "Elseworlds". I think you'll like them.

Haven't watched either Arrow or Supergirl, which would be next on my binge-watch list. How is Supergirl this season? I know you've been watching it, since you add to its page. From what I gleaned from "Elseworlds", it's pretty intense. Going by the Arrow episode of "Elseworlds", season 7 of Arrow doesn't look likes it's shaping up too well, but I'll keep an open mind when I can get around to it.

Stay out of harm's way, my friend. Talk to you later.

Ooznoz (talk) 02:55, 13 January 2019 (UTC)OoznozReply[reply]

@Ooznoz: Haha surviving is the right word. I actually just took a week's vacation with my girlfriend to Italy to clear the head. And next week we start semester exams. Bit behind on TV, but hope I'll get back to it. Glad you're managing to watch and keeping stuff updated :) Take care! --SuperJew (talk) 13:17, 13 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hello from Ooznoz 2020.Edit

Greetings, SuoerJew, from your old pal Ooznoz. I hope you're doing well and that this message will reach you.

I trust that 2019 was a good and productive year for you. How are you doing at university? Hope you're not overloaded and can enjoy some quality geek time.

As for me, I've had a few lucky breaks. Finally got a better job with better hours and pay.

I'm still w/o TV or internet, so I've missed all of CW's "Crisis on Infinite Earths." 😢😠 Did you watch any? If so, what did you think?

My new favorite is The Orville. Man, it's a great show. I've got both seasons on DVD and I've been rewatching many of the episodes. You should check it out if you haven't already. It's the Star Trek we all deserve.

I have see Star Wars: The Rise of 💩Walker. Nuff said.

Hope to get internet sometime soon, but other things will be taking place shortly, so who knows? Anyhow, again, I hope you're well and doing good.

Go out into the world and be excellent, my friend. Talk to you later.

@Ooznoz: Hi friend :) It's good to hear you're doing well. I'm a bit busy all together - uni is a bit lighter this year, but married life is very busy - we also have adopted a kitten and a puppy who are adorable but need a lot of time ;) I'm actually pretty behind on shows, but have started watching some on Netflix while doing household chores :P I also need to see the new Star Wars :O Take care of yourself! --SuperJew (talk) 06:53, 20 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@SuperJew: Hey, congratulations on your new family. Sure they bring you much joy. Good to know life is treating you nicely as well. Hope you get caught up soon with all the shows, although I understand priorities. Take care.

Your username?Edit

Hi SuperJew, I see you have a rather unusual ID. I also see you have not been active here recently. Can you please explain? Thanks in advance, Ottawahitech (talk) 14:42, 24 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ottawahitech What is unusual with my ID? And what is the problem that I've been less active recently? I have a lot going on with other things. --SuperJew (talk) 17:35, 24 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
