A Weird Thing

@GreenMeansGo: Hi again, and your talk page says "This page is protected because of Vandalism", so I wrote a message here on my talk page, and I mentioned you for attention. Thanks again for blocking users I warned (since I'm not an administrator) and I think that user is doomed... More common things are that the formar of their usernames are always like FirstNameLastNameNumber and their edits are all about stuff in mobile phones so it's kinda weird... ——Blessings, Josephina (talk) 23:38, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

Hey Josephine. Yes, they are a program that someone has written to register new accounts and spam links to external sites. The are unfortunately a problem on many projects, and not just Wikiquote. GMG^talk 10:50, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

All projects as far as I am aware, unless they have successfully implemented an edit filter to prevent them. There are regular requests related to these bots at meta:Steward requests/Global. We attempted to implement such a filter here a while ago, but I'm afraid it was too crude an instrument, and had a lot of collateral damage. GMG^talk 12:32, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

I'd say just keep helping us work together to build a better educational resource. There can be a lot of stuff to learn, and the community will want to see more than few weeks of a track record in order to weigh in on a request for adminship. Improvements

Some of the additions you initially made were not appropriate to Wikiquote, in which articles are created to present quotations, not general statements of facts, as a Wikipedia article would. The page Andromeda currently merely redirects to a television series, but a Wikiquote article dedicated to the Andromeda Galaxy, or other uses of the term would have only a very brief introduction, followed by quotes on the Galaxy, constellation, myth, or other use of the name.
