You are not helping the feminist cause by making such absurd suggestions such as Hitchens being a sexist due to his quote regarding the virgin birth. This interpretation is so absurd it's either intentional to garner attention, or a complete misunderstanding of what sexism, and the fight for equal rights, is. - —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 115.72.181.139 (talk • contribs) 17:09, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- I presume you are referring to this comment I made back in June 2015, which seems to have inspired a bizarre series of edits. I am rather baffled how and why a random comment on an obscure talk page regarding an attempt to track down an obscure quote managed to get transformed into some fight over whether Hitchens was a sexist, or my supposed views on the matter, or my supposed interest in "helping the feminist cause". My only interest in the whole subject is that of trying to track down the source of the quote -- and that seems to pretty much have already been resolved. Kindly leave me out of any fights over Hitchens legacy, or his views on women, or efforts to "further the feminist cause". JesseW (talk) 00:49, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
