PROD

Hi and thanks for your recent nominations for deletion of some pages that appear to deserve it. I wanted to be sure you were aware of the Proposed Deletion (aka PROD) process - a couple of the pages you nominated appear to be ripe for this process, which is faster and less formal than VFD. In general, if a page seems to obviously be a candidate to be deleted (e.g., it has no quotes, or the subject is not notable, etc.), this is a better first step. If the PROD notice is removed and someone contests it, but the problem remains, then the second step could be VFD. The specifics can be found here: Wikiquote:Proposed deletion. Yes. A belated hi

You and I had a brief discussion of women categories recently so I was thinking of you when I checked for updates on Wikiquote:Administrators'_noticeboard#Why_was_this_category_discussion_page_deleted?. I don't normally check a UP before I post a message on their UT, but you are different because

I wasn't sure how best to find you but since my first impression of you was that of a straightforward person I started typing in the search box User:Rubbish, and to my delight I got an autocomplete and instantly clicked on your User-page (UP). I have not quite yet figured out when autocomplete helps and when it does not. I hope I am making sense?

Back to your UP I see that you have been here much longer than me, that you belong to the demographic-group most abundant on wmf-wikis unlike me, and that you started out as recent change patroller. I already knew that you are interested in wq:Categories.
