edit- What are your main focuses if this RFA passes and you become an administrator?
- If the RFA does pass and I do become an administrator my focus would be to I have is to help out more in the cleaning up such as adding no intro, adding correct Wiki links which I have been busy doing for a few months since joining Wikiquote:WikiProject Weekly Cleanup which I have been more active in. Also an issue on Wikiquote is vandalism, which has been going on recently when an administrator is not around to block them it gives the Vandals/trolls time to write nonsense on other users talk pages, and vandalize pages and in which to user their revert edits only to be reverted back until an administrator comes and blocks them. I believe having the additional tools that users don't have will help to block vandals and delete unnecessary pages. Miszatomic (talk) 19:25, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- I hope you are really active on the "Also an issue on Wikiquote is vandalism" part, I have been annoyed to death about the admins not being around to clean up the mess ;-) --~~Goldenburg111 19:28, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Voting
edit- Support - As nominator. --~~Goldenburg111 22:07, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Support: created valuable articles (for films, and many TV series), makes good edits, and is willing to fight vandalism. However, I would expect candidates for adminship to be more active in community discussions, e.g. at Village Pump, and in Votes for Deletion, so that we may know in advance their opinions, views on WQ, and what to expect in sensible issues. Furthermore, some articles created by the candidate, contain too many one-liners, most not even quoteworthy (e.g., From Paris with Love: "Nice work Reece", "What about it?", "You Play?"; Kick-Ass 2: "Who?"; Resident Evil 6: "Stay right where you are!", etc.); and, when too many of these are used, there might be copyright concerns (e.g., in this article: Eva Dobell, a living person, it seems full poems are transcribed). So, more time might be needed for this user to completely assimilate WQ's philosophy and norms. (He is certainly admin material, if not now, then in some months' time.) ~ DanielTom (talk) 12:50, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Support · Miszatomic has been one of the most active editors here for some time, often countered vandal attacks to the extent possible as a normal editor, and has shown ability to adapt to situations well. As to some of the reservations expressed by DanielTom in voting to support, I myself have never been inclined to pay much attention to most VfDs save when I notice one I think particularly needless, though I normally try to keep an eye on the Village Pump and Admin's notice board. All said, with most of what I have observed thus far, I believe this editor will probably be a very good admin. ~ ♞☤☮♌Kalki·†·⚓⊙☳☶⚡ 13:05, 21 March 2014 (UTC) + tweaks[reply]
- Support. Strong candidate. -- Cirt (talk) 06:23, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Support:, Per DanielTom. I particularly share his concerns about the quality of work, which might need some improvement. But I am confident that this user will adjust (considering the latest contributions). -- Mdd (talk) 20:12, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
