Narrator:  [opening line]  In this dark Summer of 1942, the onslaught of the Third Reich continues under the leadership of this indecent and corrupt man.  His over-trained and blindly-obedient army continues to ravish what is left of free Europe.  While Il Duce grasps for his place as this wicked Axis tries to dominate the world, President Roosevelt and Prime Minister Churchill gather the Allies in defence of the free world, the third Axis power plunders across the PacificMankind is being threatened by these despicable villainsThe only hope for freedom and democracy is…
Theme:  Wonder Woman!  Wonder Woman!  All the world is waiting for you, and the power you possess, in your satin tights, fighting for your rights and the old red, white, and blue, Wonder Woman!  Wonder Woman!  Now the world is ready for you and the wonders you can do: make a hawk a dove, stop a war with love, make a liar tell the truth.  Wonder Woman!  Get us out from under, Wonder Woman!  All our hopes are pinned upon you and the magic that you do.  Stop a bullet cold.  Make the Axis fold.  Change their minds and change the world, Wonder Woman!  Wonder Woman!  You're a wonder, Wonder Woman!

Oberst von Blasko:  Speak English, if you don't mind, Herr Kapitän, for secrecy's sake, on the off-chance that someone might be listening and learn the secret of your mission.

Major Steven Leonard Trevor, Sr.:  General, I can only do my best.

Princess Diana:  It's a man.  He's been hurt.  He's almost dead, Rena.
Rena:  A man?  Here on our island?

Rena:  I've never seen a man in the flesh before.
Princess Diana:  Who of us have?

The Queen of Paradise Island:  This location has always been perfect for us.  In a thousand years, no one has ever discovered us.

Princess Diana:  Will he be all right?
The Queen:  Yes, in time.  But will we be all right?
Princess Diana:  We, Mother?
The Queen:  The instant he returns to civilisation, the world will know about us.  And our island.  Then where will we be?
Princess Diana:  But, surely, some men can be trusted.
The Queen:  You're too young to remember how we women were slaves in Rome and Greece.  I promised myself it would never happen again.  We found this island where we could live in harmony, peace, sisterhood.

The Queen:  I named this island Paradise for an excellent reason: there are no men on it.  Thus, it is free of their wars, their greed, their hostilities, their barbaric, masculine behaviour
Princess Diana:  Thousands of years have passed.  Perhaps men are now—different.  Perhaps they've come to think as much of peace as we do.
The Queen:  We shall soon see.

Princess Diana:  Could I serve as his nurse?
The Queen:  No.  You're the princess.  You've been trained to rule, not to care for the needs of the sick.
Princess Diana:  Well, then, as a special favour to me.
The Queen:  No.
Princess DianaPlease, Mother.
The Queen:  No.
Princess Diana:  It's just for a few days.
The Queen:  No.
Princess Diana:  For scientific study.
The Queen:  Very well, then.  Go, observe the male species.

Colonel Von Blasko:  There must be a leak somewhere here at the airfield.
Nikolas:  Three of the mechanics were severely interrogated by the Gestapo.  They have all confessed.
Colonel Von Blasko:  Useless!

The Queen:  You are immortal, as are all of us on Paradise Island.  If you should ever leave here, you could revert to a human being.
Princess Diana:  Why are you telling me this now, Mother?
The Queen:  Because I sense what might happen between you and that man.  We are stronger, wiser, and more advanced than all those people in their jungles out there!  Our civilisation is perfection.
Princess Diana:  No.  There's something missing, Mother.  When I look at Steve Trevor, I feel things, things I've never known before.
The Queen:  There are some things that are better not known.  Young Amazon minds are best occupied with athletic discipline and higher learning

The Queen:  To forestall any ill feeling, I have planned a tournament of athletic games by which I alone shall determine the strongest, nimblest, and most likely aspirant for the assignment.
Princess Diana:  A tournament!  That's a wonderful idea, Mother!  I look forward to participating in the games myself.
The Queen:  You?  Never.
Princess Diana:  But, Mother!
The Queen:  I cannot risk my only begotten child, our princess, on a mission in behalf of the life of a savage.

The Queen:  The events have been tallied and two Amazons are now tied for the honour.  There is only one way to break the deadlock: bullets and bracelets.  For only women have the necessary speed and coördination to attempt bullets and bracelets without the loss of life.

The Queen:  This is the golden belt.  It is the symbol of Amazon supremacy.  So long as you wear it, you will retain your cunning and strength away from Paradise Island.  And this is your golden lasso.  Besides being made of an indestructible material, it also carries with it the power to compel people to tell the truth.  Use it well, and with compassion.  You realise the task you have chosen is the most difficult sacrifice any person can make.
Princess Diana:  [still masked]  I do it because I love my people, I love my queen, but most of all, [removes mask and wig] I love my mother.  I'm sorry, Mother, but it was the only way.
The Queen:  I would have expected nothing less from my own daughter.  [they hug]
Princess Diana:  I did it for you, mother.

The Queen:  [to Princess Diana, who us now dressed in her Wonder Woman garb]  The colours were chosen to show your allegiance to freedom and democracy.  The skirt can be discarded if it should prove cumbersome.  The material is indestructible.

The Queen:  There are many things you don't know about the world of men.  There are even some women there who are less than our Amazonian ideal.

The Queen:  The invisible plane is waiting.  The American is already aboard.  Go in peace, my daughter.  And remember that in a world of ordinary mortals, you are a wonder woman.  [kisses her daughter's head]
Wonder Woman:  I will make you proud of me, and of Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman:  [carrying Steve Trevor]  I would like to get this patient admitted.
Nurse Buck:  Just fill out these…forms in triplicate.
Wonder Woman:  You don't understand; he's quite ill and needs immediate attention.  [places Trevor on a gurney]

Wonder Woman:  [to Nurse Buck]  I'm going to leave my patient in your hands.  Thank you.  [exits without filling out any forms]

Marcia:  [on the phone]  Steve Trevor is alive.  Apparently some woman is responsible, and she must be found and stopped.

Wonder Woman:  You certainly use a lot of material in your dresses.
Brenda:  Oh, well this is downright stingy by comparison to what we had before the war.  These days, what with all the rationing, the dresses are half the size.
Wonder Woman:  Thank you very much for the dress.
Brenda:  You're welcome.
Wonder Woman:  Goodbye.
Brenda:  Goodbye.  Just a minute.  You can't leave without paying.

Wonder Woman:  Excuse me, but that's very rude.
Bank robber:  Get outta here, broad.
Wonder Woman:  It's also dangerous.  [throws bank robber over a car]

Cop:  Now, what's your story, lady?
Wonder Woman:  Story?  Well, I know a few myths, but—
Cop:  Oh, a joker, huh?  Okay, suppose we start with your name.
Wonder WomanWonder Woman.
Cop:  Sure, that's the last name: Woman?  First name, Wonder.  Right?
Wonder Woman:  Right.

Cop:  Stay right where you are, Wonder.  You caught the robbers, saved the money.  You're gonna have to fill out forms.  We're gonna need your statement.
Wonder Woman:  [to herselfThey steal money, and I have to fill out forms.  [shaking her head]  What a country this is.  [walks off without filling out any forms]

Carl:  Do you know that a good steak dinner costs over a dollar these days?  It's disgusting!

General Phil Blankenship:  Have they found out anything more about that unusual woman who dropped him off?
Marcia:  No, nothing, except that she was strangely dressed, very attractive, quite strong, and unfemininely pushy.

Wonder Woman:  I can avoid that bullet faster than you can shoot, Mr. Norman.  [throws Carl over her shoulder]  Ashley Norman, you are certainly one man who is not to be trusted.
Carl:  Please, don't—don't hurt me.
Wonder Woman:  Hurt you?  Where I'm from, we try never to hurt people.

Wonder Woman:  It's over, Marcia.  You're through.
Marcia:  You may have me, but the Third Reich will never be through.  It will go on a thousand years.
Wonder Woman:  I heard the Greeks and the Romans say the same thing.
Marcia:  You heard that?
Wonder Woman:  I may be older than I look.

Marcia:  We'll get even with you for this.  My people will send more agents!
Wonder Woman:  No.  The Nazis don't care about their women.  They let you fend for yourself.  And any civilisation that does not recognise the female is doomed to destruction.  Woman are the wave of the future, and sisterhood is stronger than anything.

Wonder Woman:  I'm going to have to get accustomed to men…and devious women.

Von Blasko:  No one can stop this mission, least of all a woman.
Wonder Woman:  You obviously have little regard for womanhood.  You must learn respect.

Phil Blankenship:  Uh, Prince.
Yeoman Diana Prince:  Yes, General.
Phil Blankenship:  Uh, Major Trevor, this is Yeoman First Class Diana Prince.
Steve Trevor:  [shaking her hand]  Nice to meet you, Diana.
Diana Prince:  Major.
Steve Trevor:  Uh, no rank around here.  Let's just make it Steve and Diana, all right?
Diana Prince:  Thank you, Steve.
Steve Trevor:  Good.

Steve Trevor:  You see, I wanted to tell someone something, and…
Diana Prince:  And you couldn't say it.
Steve Trevor:  I'm afraid I don't know how.
Diana Prince:  Just say it.
Steve Trevor:  You mean straight out?
Diana Prince:  Whatever the language, be honest.
Steve Trevor:  You're very perceptive, Diana.
Diana Prince:  I'm a woman.  Where I was brought up, women were taught to respect honesty.
Steve Trevor:  Now, I like that.  You know, we're going to get along just fine.
Diana Prince:  I'm sure we will.
