Wikiquote talk:GNU FDL
Why doesn't this page contain any text?
editThis page, 'http://quote.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_FDL', does not seem to contain any text apart from "(This page does not contain any text), as of 10/4/2004 7:56PM (AEST).
This is to despite the fact that almost every Wikiquote page contains a link to that page.
Does anyone know why?
- This was probably just overlooked when the initial setting up was done. I have just now pasted a copy of it from the WIkipedia, and protected the page. — Kalki 10:22, 10 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Link to gnu.org
editI like the gnu homepage very much and it's great that wikiquote links to it, but shouldn't "Content is available under GNU Free Documentation License." link to Wikiquote:GNU FDL? The GNU FDL requires a local copy of the license and if wikiquote has one, it can also link to that page, just like Wikipedia does...-- 217.233.215.72 01:02, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
Creative Commons
edit- Please Note: The Terms of Use changed July 2009.
Wikiquote content is now released under both the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License 3.0 (CC-BY-SA) and the GNU FDL (GFDL). Because the former is generally less restrictive, copyright holders releasing content for use in Wikiquote must explicitly permit use under the CC-BY-SA. ~ Ningauble 18:47, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Why is {{Official policy}} template on this discussion page?
editShouldn't it be on the project page? Butwhatdoiknow (talk) 20:07, 20 January 2019 (UTC)
