Avengers zap?

Hi WereSpielChequers,

I see that you have changed the word "lighting" to "lightning" and in the edit summary you said "zap". I don't see any change and don't understand what zap means.

Hi Ottawahitech, lighting and lightning are two very similar sounding words with very different meanings. Zap being a reminder of the difference. WereSpielChequers (talk) 22:23, 12 November 2022 (UTC)

I myself immediately recognized you when I saw you correct a typo on recent changes a couple years ago, but I actually met you on another wikiproject somewhere around 8-10 years ago. Since this is not a social network(?) I hesitated posting to your talkpage postponed until I had a good reason to, but lately I have been thinking about death after seeing a wiki-obituary for several people I had met over my years here. I don't want to sound like I am expecting you to die anytime soon, I just know you have been arum wiki-land for a long long time (this is not an outing is it?), and was hoping you can help us here at enwq. Hi, yes I remember you, we talked on various topics such as RFA and the blocking of admins in 2015 or before. I disclosed in my 2009 RFA that I had used a typewriter in my past, and that disclosure is fifteen years ago, so I'm not precious about people guessing something of my age. I'm afraid I'm not in a position to take on new tasks at the moment. But I've had a quick look, and your scale is rather different - you have the same number of admins as we do bureaucrats. So maybe copying en:Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Bureaucrats#Timeline would be useful. I'm sorry but I don't know who maintains it or how they do so. WereSpielChequers (talk) 23:16, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
