Interwiki deletion
editI apologize for my inadvertent removal of the Russian interwiki link at Sex. I was in the middle of reverting some mass deletions, and I must have fetched my copy of the article just before you made your "+ru", so that when I saved mine, it "lost" your addition. It was not intentional. Sorry for the confusion. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 05:47, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Jim Risch
editThanks for tha good quote. I just added a stub and a couple of cats to the article per house style. Keep going!--Cato 20:55, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Steve Ballmer quote
editI very much doubt the veracity of this attribution by Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten that you posted at Steve Ballmer. If it were really a famous story dating so far back, and it actually used those words, then it would be all over the internet. A Google search for such key phrases as "will only be a handful of websites", "people will use their favorites", "navigate to those destination sites", "nobody will need a search engine", or "except for a few students and professors" turns up nothing but pages that quote the same recent blog post. While Ballmer may have held such views, the alleged quotation looks bogus to me. Do you know of anything that might corroborate it? ~ Ningauble 21:58, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
- I went ahead and moved it from the article to the talk page. Maybe someone will find a contemporaneous account of the incident with his actual words. ~ Ningauble 15:42, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Valerie Jarrett
editI have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Valerie Jarrett, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it may not satisfy Wikiquote's criteria for inclusion, for the reasons given in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikiquote is not" and Wikiquote's deletion policy).
You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Votes for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
