editThough not so on Wikipedia, links to the dates of birth and death in the introductory section of pages are standard here — they link to QOTD selection pages. There are some pages with excessive links beyond these, but there is established utility for retaining them in the introductions. ~ Kalki (talk · contributions) 07:43, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
