Problems
editHi, Alex! I am afraid I did not quite understand what you found "hard": Wikiquote uses the same software as the wikipedias and the commons, so your previous experience should be enough. If you run up against specific problems, please let me know. In regards to the problem you talked about, I didn't quite understand: do red links not lead you into "edit article" page? They do for me, I'm using Mozilla Firefox on W2K, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Thanks for your contributions so far! ~ MosheZadka (Talk) 12:43, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
- Well!
Here's what I see where a red link after a search of "No hoof, no horse" (a "horse proverb" very well known in rider communities) should be:
- No page with this exact title exists,
trying full text search.
- I create a "Theme" Horses, because I'm a low-grade "horse expert"
(as a member of Barefoot movement).
- I also added "No hoof, no horse" to the page "English articles", but
what I didn't understand is: every sentence/proverb has an its own "Article", or not? If I create an "Person" article (Jaime Jackson, farrier, and autoritative author of horse books), then his quotes listed into the page will be found?
- Simply, I have to study more. Nevertheless, I think that indexing is
much more complex in WikiQuote than in other wiki environments. If you can give me some shortcut to the right Help page... thanks!--Alex brollo 20:38, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
