Some sections seem to be whole or massive copies. It should be trimmed. Our standard is "up to 10 quotes from an episode". Also this article contains too innate quotes in my opinion. I removed some similar "whole copies" and trimmed some down. We should remove them, unless we are going to trim them down. Otherwise it is a blatant copyright violation. --Aphaia 05:43, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

I didn't mean we have to divide the current page into subpages (I think it is not so much huge right now), rather divide it into sections by Seasons and subsections by Episodes. I don't oppose however to divide it as you mentioned, either. --Aphaia 10:31, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

The fair use analysis is unchanged by the fact that the text used comes in rhyming couplets. If this is a song, our rationale to use it actually becomes stronger, as we are presenting only the words, and not the music, thus an even lesser portion of the "work" as a whole. Cheers! Actually, that raises a good question. Is there case law that supports the idea that complete lyrics can be considered "fair use", given that they are arguably half the content of a song, and would therefore seem to violate the "amount and substantiality" clause? We've been operating on this basis for quite a while. I would think Ira Gershwin, Julie Gold, Roma Ryan, and many other famous lyricists would find unacceptable the idea that their complete contributions to songs are de minimis use of those songs. Considering our medium, too, lyrics are the only significant part, so I would expect an argument that entire-lyrics quoting here would be a blatant copyvio. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 13:12, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
