You probably do not remember me, we met years ago on another wmf-wiki.

I happened to see your posting on User_talk:Vermont#Admins and was wondering if you are aware of the negative impressions (false news?) flying around about the Dutch wmf-wikis? Thanks in advance, 17:23, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

When I do a browser-search on the term "Dutch" at:

Wikiquote:Administrators'_noticeboard#User:Babe_kebab I find 6 instances some of which are abut Dutch wikipedia and some are about Dutch wikiquote, I think? I hope your browser has a search text function as I understand not all browsers do. Cheers, Ottawahitech (talk) 17:15, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

I don't know how to interpret your comment above: Hopefully you are only saying that you believe you have no say in how the nlwiki is run and not that you don't care what happens there.

Well, I have no authority whatsoever on the nl-wiki, no more than any other regular editor. I'm not saying I don't care, but it's hardly in my purview. It is not a wiki on which I work very often. But I still don't know what this is about--surely you are not asking me to have an opinion of or a comment on a current user who says that some of the interactions she had five years ago were unhelpful? I met the user in question a long time ago at enwiki where they did excellent work as a gnome for years, so no, I was not asking your opinion about them. My own mind has been made up years ago. As far as having no say at nlwiki, and epecially at nlWQ, your reputation precedes you. Setting a good example is an important part the social networking that happens on wikis, even more so on small wikis. Just my $.02 Ottawahitech (talk) 22:53, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
