Hi Billinghurst, I don't know if you recognize me, I have communicated with you IIRC on Wikisource & Mediawiki. I'm here because I tried unintentionally to add a note to your recent comment on Meta . Just want to make a note that the reason I ended up on X's META TP is that I wanted to ask them about someone they nominated for a global lock, was carried away forgetting that I was not editing an enWQ page where, thankfully, I am (still?) not indef-blocked.. This is getting confusing, so lets move on..
You were talking to User:x about their reverting changes on the TP of some wiki-functionary, and I was just wondering if this is not a more general problem. I myself hate it when comments made by a some-users on my OWN TP are reverted by a third party, especially since the is usually followed by an edit war. I hope I am making sense?
Note: I will attempt to come back later to turn redlinks into blue ones, with your permission Ottawahitech (talk) 16:20, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
- Oh, you have seemed to get yourself into a bit of trouble. I am aware of the issue of which you mention, and I think that you can see my opinion. Typically, unless it his highly abusive, significantly problematic/systematic, or completely out of scope, I think that most things should be left to the user of whose talk page. I mean I did myself revert a user's contribution so I am not going to stand all high and mighty about it. <shrug> — billinghurst sDrewth 09:29, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
