Temur quote
editA racist quote that has nothing to do with Temur. Why do you insist to keep it? It's a fiction from a modern book. Volgabulgari (talk) 11:30, 17 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, the quote you describe as "racist" is from Christopher Marlowes classic Tamburlaine. for questions about the article Timur, please open a discussion on the Timur talkpage. thanks
- Doesn't matter who coined this shit up. Fake and fiction. Why would anyone like to see a racist quote of failed poet in page of Temur's quotes. Volgabulgari (talk) 11:37, 17 April 2023 (UTC)
- Please discuss this on Timur talkpage not here. Tamburlaine is a classic, but perhaps you can add a better quote from the same play? thanks
Have you contributed under another username?
editVirtually by the "welcome back" at 19:13, 11 October 2021 on this talk page the implication is you may have edited under one or more different accounts but I dont see a declaration on you user page, simply that you are having a wikibreak. Obviously I may have understood that wrong or you might be doing a clean start and avoiding topics and pages you have contributed to previously. I guess I'm taking a glance as you've touched a coupe of article what I might call a "contentious" area recently, not necessarily you've done anything wrong and got involved in a dispute. Also in a couple of cases recently, notably Khan at VfD and also on H. V. Sheshadri where their would be a good case for trying to create an article on the English Wikipedia. As the Khan VfD is ongoing I dont really wish to discuss that particular case here. It's a discussion better held on an English Wikipedia AfD with a top closer on that place. If I good faith see what I judge to be 2 RS I've probably change my vote. I'd suggest w:en:Wikipedia:The Wikipedia Library (you should be eligible) might be good for sources ... particularly ProQuest ... but "M. A. Kahn" is likely to generate a lot of false hits. -- DeirgeDel tac 13:27, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
- It was visible on my userpage before and I have added another note. Thank you for bringing my attention to it, and thank you for your effort in the AFD and the suggestions, where I have replied now. --ᘙ (talk) 17:32, 8 May 2023 (UTC)

editDid my pinging you here work? -- Apisite (talk) 05:15, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, it did. I have replied there. --ᘙ (talk) 20:29, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
Richard H. Meadow
editI have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Richard H. Meadow, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it may not satisfy Wikiquote's criteria for inclusion, for the reasons given in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikiquote is not" and Wikiquote's deletion policy).
You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Votes for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ~ UDScott (talk) 14:01, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
Minor requests
editI've noticed on some of your recent people page additions, you've been leaving off the birth/death dates of the person. Could you be sure to include this (if known)? Also, it's good practice to include links to Wikipedia where such links are appropriate in the intro. Usually, I come behind and add them when I notice it, but there are days where I miss some of the new pages and don't always get a chance to comb through the list of new pages. Thanks for all your additions! ~ UDScott (talk) 17:10, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- I have sometimes been copying the intro from the search engine summary and not directly from wikipedia so I think that is the reason that sometimes the date of birth was missing. I will take care to include these. Thank you for the suggestions for improvement. --ᘙ (talk) 17:16, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
