[Scott, Lydia, and Stiles bring an unconscious de-aged Derek to Deaton's clinic]
Dr. Deaton: [shocked] Wow.
Stiles: Wow? Wow, as in, "I've seen this before, and I know exactly what to do" kind of wow? 'Cause that's the kind of wow we were hoping for.

Stiles: [about Malia] So, it's like two in the morning. I wake up, and she's just lying right next to me. She just sneaks in! This is, like, five times a week.
Scott: And then what happens?
Stiles: [shows him claw marks on his back] This.
Scott: [in awe] Holy--
Stiles: Yeah, right on, right? After that, we spent the rest of the night spooning.
Scott: That sounds okay...
Stiles: Yeah, but I'm always the little spoon. Always.

[Sheriff Stilinski has just found de-aged Derek at the station after he's arrested]
Sheriff Stilinski: I want you to be honest with me. Absolutely and completely honest. [He pauses dramatically] Have you been time traveling?
Stiles: Hang on. WHAT?!
Sheriff: Because if time-traveling is real, ya know what? I'm done. I'm out! You're going to be driving me to Eichen House!
Scott: We found him like that!
Sheriff: [exasperated] Where?! Swimmin' in the fountain of youth?!
Stiles: No! We found him buried in a tomb of wolfsbane in an Aztec temple in Mexico... underneath a church in the middle of a town that was destroyed by an earthquake...
Sheriff: [pauses] You told me you were camping!
Stiles: Yeah, we were! ...In Mexico.

Scott: [about Derek] I shouldn't have done that. I lied my ass off.
Stiles: Hey, your ass is fine. You saved him a ton of unnecessary pain. We'll figure this out in a day or two, he goes back to being old Derek, everyone's happy... Except for Derek, who's never happy...

Kira: Scott's going to find Peter, and we're supposed to meet Stiles at Scott's house.
Lydia: That sounds like a horrible plan. But, we've had worse. Like yesterday, in Mexico...?
Kira: [awkward] About that... Remember how we were in the club, and you and Scott were tied up to electrified cables?
Lydia: Vividly.
Kira: I know. I guess what I'm trying to ask is... if my hand was on the dial connected to you, and I had to turn it up to ten...
Lydia: ...Would I be angry?
Kira: ...Yeah...
Lydia: No. Because I knew you had no choice, exactly like Scott knows. And, if you're worried about him, just remember you're a katana-wielding, badass kitsune. And, he couldn't be more into you.

Scott: What are you doing here?
Malia: I heard you were coming to talk to Peter. And, since Lydia tells me he's basically Satan in a v-neck, I figured you shouldn't be alone.

Scott: Peter, this is Malia.
Peter: [stunned] Beautiful eyes. Did you get them from your father?
[Malia looks at him warily]
Malia: Mother.
Peter: Interesting. Anyway, I'm sure they've told you a lot about me.
Malia: The homicidal killing spree came up.
Peter: [smirks] Well, we're all works in progress.

Peter: Can't someone in this town stay dead?
Malia: I think they were hoping you would.

Scott: Do you have any idea why Kate would turn Derek into a teenager again?
Peter: [thinks for a moment] What color were his eyes?
Scott: Blue.
Peter: Hmm. After Paige. Which could mean around the time he first met Kate...
Scott: [shocked] Derek and Kate knew each other?
Peter: [smirks] Biblically. That's right, Scott-- you weren't the first wolf to climb into a hunter's bed.

[Derek and Kate have found the triskelion in the Hale vault]

Kate: This is it? You're sure?
Derek: Yeah.
Kate: It doesn't look like much.
Peter: That's 'cause it isn't. Quite the elaborate scheme you have here, Kate. Two countries, Aztec temples, Derek returned to a teenager... One that trusted you. One that loved you. All this complication, just to gain access to our vault. Just to get your hands on that little piece of junk. Turn it over. Go ahead. There's a scrape on the back where it used to say, "Made in China."

Lydia: [to Stiles] You seriously need to find something better than a baseball bat.

Peter: [to Kate about the triskelion] Derek gave up on it back when he learned another way to control the shift. One I taught him. I taught him to use emotion. To use anger. And to focus on it, to feel every ounce of rage and hatred he that he could summon. It was the anger that taught him control. So, you want to learn to control it? You want to get angry, Kate? Let's get angry!

[Lydia and Stiles have found Peter in the vault after the robbery, where he is muttering under his breath. They look at him in confusion]
Peter: It was never... never about the triskelion. They took it. They took it while I was blind...
Stiles: Took what?
Peter: Bonds. Bearer bonds. And they took them all.
Stiles: Bearer bonds? Hold on, are you saying you got robbed?
Peter: This was a heist. Somebody planned this.
Lydia: How much did they take?
Peter: 117...
Stiles: [shocked] Thousand?
Peter: ...Million.

Muted [4.03]

edit
The Mute: Hello, Sean. I just killed your family. Do you want to die like them? Begging for your life? Or, do you want to fight? I'll give you some help. Wrap a towel around your first. Smash the mirror. Use one of the shards to defend yourself. Go ahead, I'm waiting. [He waits a beat] Are you ready, Sean? Because here I come.

[Peter side-eyes Braeden when she sets her boots on the coffee table at the loft]
Peter: That table's Italian.
Braeden: So are these boots.

Peter: [to Braeden] We're hiring you to find Kate, not assassinate the President.

[Kira has just learned her family plans on moving back to New York]
Ken: [to Noshiko] I thought you were going to talk to her?
Noshiko: Kira, we told you this was temporary.
Kira: That was after you told me I was a kitsune, and was going to have to destroy a dark spirit by stabbing and killing one of the few friends I've made in this town.
Noshiko: And you didn't have to! I call that a win.

[Stiles and Scott confront Liam after lacrosse practice when they become suspicious about how good he is]
Stiles: Okay, how'd you get this good? Have you always been this good? Or, did it suddenly happen just once overnight? Have you ever been out in the middle of the woods during the night of a full--
Scott: [interrupts] Stiles--
Liam: Look, I learned from my step-father, all right? He made team captain when he was a sophomore. [He looks at Scott] Like you. And yeah... I guess I'm just that good.

Malia: I hate math. It's pointless.
Stiles: It's school! School is important, and math is essential.
Malia: [annoyed] To what?
Stiles: [winks] Knowing how much to tip at restaurants.
Lydia: [rolls her eyes in annoyance] And other less important things, like medicine, economics, engineering...
Stiles: [to Malia] Tipping!

Scott: Whoa, whoa, we've got Econ. in five minutes.
Stiles: All right, did you forget the part about the family-murdering axe-murderer?
Scott: Did you forget that your dad's the sheriff? They'd want us to stay out of it.
Stiles: Are you guys kidding me? There's a family-murdering axe-murderer and we're not going to do anything about it?
Kira: Maybe we should let the adults handle it?
Stiles: So, the two of you, you just want to stay here at school, go to class? [Kira and Scott nod, looking guilty] I've never heard anything so irresponsible in my life.

[Stiles is weak and panting after sprinting around the field with the lacrosse team. Scott holds him up to keep him from falling to the ground]
Stiles: [about Liam] He isn't human. What is he? Like a werecheetah? Does that even exist? Is that a thing?
Scott: I think he's just good.
Stiles: [pants] I'm gonna puke. Take me somewhere.

Kira: [to Malia, after watching Scott play horribly] Isn't the captain supposed to be one of the best players on the team? Or good?

Stiles: Dude, what is going on with you?
Scott: I don't know, I'm having a really off day.
Stiles: "Off day?" You were dying out there! I feel actual physical pain watching you!

[Stiles urges Scott to tap into his wolf powers for the team's sake]
Scott: It's cheating.
Stiles: I know it is. I just-- I hate seeing this little freshman come in and steal all your glory after you worked your tushie off! I hate it!

Braeden: The problem is the people I need to talk to right now don't talk to people like you.
Derek: You want me to wait for you?
Braeden: I want you to trust me.
Derek: [smirks] And why would I trust you? I don't know anything about you.
Braeden: Yeah, well, I know you. And I know what you really want. You want what Kate stole from you. [She begins to speak Gaelic] Briseann an dúchas trí shúile an chait. It means "The true nature of someone is reflected in their eyes." In your case, the color of your eyes.

[Lydia has just been found at the Walcott house by Deputy Parrish after being drawn there in a banshee fugue-state]
Lydia: I would try to explain, but I've never gotten a satisfactory explanation myself.
Deputy Parrish: Just an unusual habit of showing up at places where people have been brutally murdered?
Lydia: [smirks] Are you saying I have a reputation?
Deputy Parrish: An usual one. Maybe you're psychic?
Lydia: Don't tell me you believe all that?
Deputy Parrish: I'd like to say I don't believe in anything, but I keep an open mind. But, if you're looking for dead bodies, I think you're a little late.

Stiles: Hey, I don't need to say that wasn't your fault, right?
Scott: [sad] I don't know.
Stiles: Scott, if you had use any wolf power, that kid wouldn't be limping, he'd be crawling... back to the other half of his body.
Scott: If I hadn't been so worried about being captain, he wouldn't be hurt either.
Stiles: It's okay to want something for yourself once in a while. Team captain, alpha werewolf... you're still only human.

[Scott has just found Sean on the roof, where he's about to eat Liam. Sean has revealed that he's a wendigo]
Scott: Don't! You don't need to do this. Whatever it is, whatever you are... we can help you.
Sean: No, you can't.
Scott: Let me help you.
Sean: Wendigos don't need help, we need food!

The Benefactor [4.04]

edit
Sheriff Stilinski: Hey, let's get everyone off the roof. And, see if you can stall the M.E. for five minutes. I've got an expert of my own coming to take a look.
Deputy Parrish: [suspicious] You have an expert on teenage cannibals?

[Stiles has just arrived at Scott's house, to find he had accidentally bitten Liam and tied him up in his bathroom]
Stiles: So, you bit him.
Scott: ...Yeah...
Stiles: And you kidnapped him.
Scott: ...Yeah...
Stiles: And you brought him here.
Scott: I panicked!
Stiles: Yup. [He nods] This isn't going to end with us burying the pieces of his body out in the desert, is it? [Liam starts whimpering in fear in the bathroom] As a reminder, this is why I always come up with the plans. Your plans suck.

Stiles: Okay, Liam. Now, you've seen a lot of confusing things tonight. And, more confusing things are going to happen because of the confusing things that happened tonight. Do you understand?
Liam: [angrily] Not really.
Stiles: Good, that's good.
Scott: I don't understand, either.
Stiles: ...Maybe you should tell him.

[Kira and Lydia are looking at the code Lydia transcribed in a banshee fugue-state]
Kira: These are your math notes? No wonder Malia's failing.
Lydia: Some of them are my notes. The rest I think might actually be a code.
Kira: But you don't remember writing it?
Lydia: Not in the slightest. But, considering my drawing of a tree led us to the Nemeton, I should probably figure out what it means before it tries to kill us.

Natalie Martin: Remember the rules. No more than six people allowed in the lake house. Stay out of the wine. And, if anything gets broken, it's getting added to your credit card debt.
Lydia: [shrugs] Fine.
Natalie: And lock up the basement. From all the scratch marks I found on the walls, it looked like a pack of wild animals got down there.
[Lydia and Kira look at each other nervously]

[Scott and Stiles have confronted Liam at school after being bitten by Scott]
Scott: We need to talk.
Liam: No, you need to back the hell up, okay? Both of you.
Scott: Can you just listen for one second? Please? [Liam gives him a look] Liam... we're brothers now.
Liam: [confused] What?
Stiles: [horrified] Oh, God, that's--
Liam: What are you talking about? We just met, and you bit me.
Scott: [anxious] The bite... the bite is a gift.
Stiles: [embarrassed] Scott, stop. Please, stop.

Stiles: You! You. We're trying to help you, you little runt!
Liam: [side-eyes him] By kidnapping me?
Stiles: ...Just to clarify, Scott kidnapped you, okay? I... aided, and abetted.

Scott: We're going to use the boathouse for Liam. It's got support beams, we can chain him to one of them.
Kira: But how do we get him out to the lake house if he doesn't trust us?
Stiles: I say if it keeps him from murdering someone, we chloroform the little bastard and throw him in the lake.
Malia: [raises hand] I'm in!

Lydia: [to Kira] You know what they call a female fox? A vixen.

[Liam and Kira have arrived to the lake house, where Scott, Lydia, Malia and Stiles are waiting for them]
Liam: What the hell is this?
Stiles: Think of it like an intervention. You have a problem, Liam.
Scott: And we're the only ones that can help.

Sheriff Stilinski: [about the Mute] I still don't get how this guy has no mouth. How can he eat?
Derek: Oh, Peter didn't get a chance to ask. He was fighting him off with a tomahawk buried in his chest, so...

[The McCall Pack has just explained to Liam what they are, and he looks at them in confusion as he points at each of them in turn as he tries to understand]
Liam: [to Scott] Werewolf? [to Malia] Werecoyote. [to Lydia] Banshee. [to Kira] Fox?
Kira: Kitsune. But, fox works.
Liam: [to Stiles] What are you?
Stiles: Uh, for a little while, I was possessed by an evil spirit. It was very evil.
Liam: And what are you now?
Stiles: [shrugs] Better?

Liam: How did you do that?
Scott: You'll learn. But first, you need to get through the full moon.
Liam: [angry] The moon's already out.
Scott: And you starting to feel something, aren't you?
Liam: [loses his temper] I feel like I'm surrounded by a bunch of psychotic nutjobs! You guys are out of your freaking minds. I don't know how you did that eye-thing, and I don't care. I'm walking out that door right now, and if any of you try to stop me, I swear to God, I'm gonna--
[Liam sudden begins to wolf out mid-sentence, and everyone panics]

Lydia: What am I supposed to do with the hordes gathering outside the door?
Stiles: Lydia, who throws the best parties in Beacon Hills?
Lydia: [shrieks in frustration] What? Me, obviously!
Stiles: Okay, then throw a party!

[Demarco Montana, a delivery man, has just arrived with a keg of beer to Lydia's lake house]
Lydia: Okay, I didn't order a keg of beer. Especially not domestic.

Lydia: [looks at the bill] What's this extra $100?
Demarco Montana: That's the "Yes, you do look 21 to me"-surcharge.

[Stiles is sitting with Malia, who is chained up for the full moon. Her coyote-face is out, and she's struggling against her chains]
Stiles: Just breathe, okay? I'm not going to leave you.
Malia: What if I hurt you?
Stiles: You're not going to!
Malia: But I want to. Ugh! I look at your face, and I want to smash it! I want to tear it! I want to feel your bones crack between my hands!
Stiles: [unfazed] Surprisingly enough, you're not the first person to ever say something like that. I'm not leaving you, and I'm not going to let you hurt anyone.

[Demarco sees that someone slit the tires of his car and starts to wolf-out from the full moon's influence. He starts to chant a mantra under his breath]
Demarco Montana: Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, the truth.

[Scott leads Kira to the dock so they can slow dance]

Kira: [looks at Liam] What about him?
Scott': [smiles] He can dance with me next time!

Derek: You know, just because this guy connected to the school's WiFi, doesn't mean he's still here.
Sheriff Stilinski: True. but, I've seen enough in this school to keep my gun in hand whenever walking in after dark.

Stiles: [to Malia] I'm not going to run, because I don't think you're going to hurt me. And, I think maybe you're so afraid of hurting me because of what you did to your family. I know what that's like. I remember everything that I did. And, the worst part is I remember liking it. Because I felt powerful. I felt fearless. And, most of all, in control. But, when I came through it, I learned something else-- Control is overrated.

[Chris Argent arrived just in time to save Scott from a wolfed-out and furious Liam]
Scott: [relieved] How did you know?
Argent: I got your text.

[Peter has just killed the Mute in front of Derek and Sheriff, who are furious]
Derek: We've learned a better way!
Peter: I'm a creature of habit.

[Argent and Scott are talking after Argent saved him from the wolfed-out Liam]
Argent: There's a clearing just north of here. All you have to do is corral him there. The rest is taken care of.
Scott: What are you going to do?
Argent: He's your Beta, Scott. The better question is, what are you going to do?
Scott: [discouraged] He won't listen to me.
Argent: He will if you start using your own words.

Kira: Hey, Lydia? Are you okay? What do you hear?
Lydia: The key. The key to break the code.

Liam: They can't know about this. My mom, my step-dad... I can't do this to them again.
Scott: [concerned] What do you mean, "again?"
Liam: I got kicked out of school. And I deserved it. But the way they looked at me when they saw what I did to that car... [Liam breaks down in tears]
Scott: [sad] Liam, it's okay--
Liam: They can't see me like this. Like... like...
Scott: [whispers] Like a monster? [Liam nods] You're not a monster. You're a werewolf. Like me.

[Lydia and Kira have just cracked the code, using the keyword ALLISON]
Kira: What is this?
Lydia: [shocked] It's a deadpool... And we're all on it.

I.E.D. [4.05]

edit
Stiles: First, you need to know that the code was broken with a cipher key.
Sheriff Stilinski: Wait. You mean, like, a... like a keyword?
Stiles: It's actually a name.
Scott: [gulps anxiously] "Allison."

[Kira is walking down the hallway and is only half-listening as her dad talks to her]
Ken: It's not that we were wanting to talk to you. It's that we were wondering if you wanted to talk to us.
Kira: About what?
Ken: About something that you forgot to mention? Something important?
Kira: [continues skimming her notes] How important?
Ken: Exceptionally.
Kira: [stops in her tracks] Oh, god. You know.
Ken: We know.
Kira: Look, I was going to tell you. We were going to tell you. Everything-- about the deadpool, the assassins, the killings... but I didn't want you to worry!
Ken: [pulls out her jersey] I was talking about you joining the lacrosse team.
Kira: [grabs the jersey and turns the other way] Oh! Then... never mind!
Ken: [bewildered] Deadpool?

[Derek has just met Liam at the high school. Liam leaves for class, leaving Derek and Scott alone in the locker room]
Scott: What are you smiling about?
Derek: [smiles wider] You're gonna be good at this.
Scott: Are you kidding? I am totally unprepared! Remember how you said you could teach me a few things? I think, right now, I could use a full-on training manual.
Derek: I'll tell you one thing-- that anger he's got? It'll make him strong.
Scott: [sighs] And dangerous.
Derek: [grins] Very!

Coach Finstock: [to Stiles] You know, Stilinski, if I could grade you on how profoundly you disturb me, you'd be an A+ student.

Kira: Maybe instead of trying to find a lacrosse stick with a hidden dagger in it, we should be trying to get the game cancelled?
Scott: The game's the best way to catch him red-handed.
Stiles But what if he's red-handed 'cause his hands are covered in the blood of the person that he just stabbed to death? Which, by the way, could be either of you guys.
Scott: Or Liam. Well, we don't have the whole list, and he could be on it.
Stiles: We don't know anything about that list! How it's made, how it's updated... I mean, who's been out taking a supernatural census, anyway?

Scott: I'm not afraid.
Kira: Neither am I.
Stiles: [incredulous] Well, I'm terrified, and I'm not even on the list! Guys, these are professional killers! It's their profession! One of them's got a thermo-cut wire that cuts heads off! Who knows what else they have?

Violet: I'm just saying, I don't know why we're going after a Beta when there's an Alpha on the field.
Garrett: Because an entire pack of Alphas went after McCall, and he was the one left standing.

Lydia: Eichen House says Meredith can't have visitors without permission from a family member.
Malia: That's not gonna be easy, since her whole family is dead...
Lydia: Perfect.
Malia: Okay, maybe we go back to the art room? Or music room?
Lydia: I'm not plucking piano strings for two hours, waiting for some supernatural inspiration.
Malia: Fine. What else do banshees do?
Lydia: [frustrated] You think I know? I can't just turn this on. I'm not like you guys. I don't have claws, or glowing eyes, or super senses. I just have voices in my head.

Liam: I just wanted to say... have a good game.
Brett: [bursts out laughing with his friends] That's cute, Liam. Is that what they told you to say in anger management? Apologize, and everything's fine? You demolished Coach's car.
Liam: [grits teeth] I paid for it.
Brett: Yeah, you're going to pay for it. We're gonna break you in half out there, and it's gonna be all your fault.

[Liam and Mason are standing together on the sidelines, talking. Mason is distracted by Brett taking his shirt off across the field]
Liam: I don't care if he's a foot taller than me. I think I can take him.
Mason: [not paying attention] Yeah...
Liam: [notices Mason's leering] What do you think you're doing?
Mason: What? Me? [scoffs] Agreeing with you! I'm being agreeable!
Liam: ...You think he's hot, don't you?
Mason: No! No. Not at all. No way! ...Maybe. Yeah, maybe a little.
Liam: [sighs] He wants to destroy me.
Mason: I think you could definitely take him... And then give him to me.

Derek: [about Kate] What are you going to do when you find her?
Argent: There's a place I can take her.
Derek: Are you saying you have some kind of werewolf-jail?
Argent: Something like that.

Derek: [about Kate] She won't go quietly.
Argent: I don't expect her to. And, I'll do what's necessary.
Derek: [sighs] What if I asked you not to? [Chris looks at him curiously as Derek's eyes flash gold] She took something from me. At first, I thought it was a part of my past. But then, I started to lose something else-- my sense of smell. [Derek's golden werewolf eyes fade away] I'm losing my power.

Kira: Why do I feel like this is going to end badly?
Stiles: Because it usually does.

Deputy Parrish: You called Lydia?
Sheriff: [nervously] ...Yeah...
Deputy Parrish: Because Meredith asked for her, or because of the other thing?
Sheriff: [confused] What other thing?
Deputy Parrish: [whispers] The psychic thing.
Sheriff: You think Lydia's psychic?
Deputy Parrish: Do you?
Sheriff: No, I do not. I think that she is, uh... intuitive.
Deputy Parrish: That's what they used to call psychics-- intuitionists!
Sheriff: [sighs and rolls his eyes] And I used to call myself a rational human being...

Stiles: [to a massive player on the other team] You guys know that anabolic steroids are illegal in the United States? You wear a lot of facial hair for a teenager. What are you on? Seriously! HGH? Gamma radiation?

[Araya and Severo break into Argent's armory, and Chris and Severo each have a handgun pointed at each other]
Araya: In Mexico, we just call this a standoff.

[Violet throws her thermo-wire garrote around Scott's neck and tries to strangle him]
Violet: [gleefully] He said we shouldn't try! But now, I've got you. I've got an Alpha!
[Scott yanks the garrote away from her, grabs her in a choke-hold, and slams her head into the wall, knocking her out]

Orphaned [4.06]

edit
[Kate listens to a man speak about the Hale family on a cassette tape that was left in her car]
Dr. Fenris: Eventually settling in a small town in Northern California, this family used their wealth to rebuild the community around them while remaining isolated from it. This was sometimes more a choice than a necessity, as not all of their children would become werewolves. The ones that did, these born wolves, had to be trained. They needed to learn control. They had a practice for the training of betas, a tradition passed down through generations that involved the use of a sacred object called a triskelion. Without control, violence-- extreme violence-- is inevitable.

Kate: Big fancy guns... Coded death lists... So-called assassins... And not one of you can answer the simplest question-- Who's paying the bills? So, I'll ask again-- Who is the Benefactor?
Assassin: I swear to God, I've never seen him, never spoken to him...
Kate: [sighs] I know. See, everybody says the same thing. They don't know who he is, where he is... [She mocks them] "It's all done electronically, I can't help you." "Please, I'm bleeding to death." "Please stop, it hurts!"
Assassin: Then, what do you want with me?
Kate: It's been a long time since someone's made me a mix tape. You got one, too, didn't you?
Assassin: No. No, but I--but I know who did. They look like kids. Like teenagers. They're called the Orphans.

[Stiles and Lydia have just shown Deputy Jordan Parrish the deadpool list with his name on it]
Jordan Parrish: Okay, that's kind of terrifying. What's the number?
Lydia: ...That's how much you're worth.
Parrish: [offended] I'm worth five dollars?!
Stiles: [holds up a hand] Five million.
Parrish: I only make 40,000 a year. Maybe I should kill myself.

[Brunski has just caught an orderly opening the door to Meredith's room at Eichen House for Deputy Parrish, Stiles, and Lydia]
Brunski: What the hell are we running here? A bed and breakfast? We do not just open the door for anyone with a badge.
Parrish: We need to talk to Meredith Walker. It involves a murder investigation.
Brunski: Well, you can talk to her all you want, but these two, especially that one [He points at Stiles]-- They're outta here.
Parrish: They're crucial witnesses in an ongoing investigation. I wouldn't have brought them here if it wasn't absolutely... crucial.

Brunski: Okay, Deputy. How about you come back with a court order, then I'll listen. As for you, Mr. Stilinski, how about you come back with payment in full? That's right, Daddy might be the Sheriff, but he's late on the bills. I guess those government jobs aren't as reliable as they used to be, huh?
Parrish: But, they do help when you need a favor. Like, how a month ago, Canaan P.D. helped you get home after blowing 0.1 on a breathalyzer?
Stiles: [mocks Brunski gleefully] No!
Brunski: [embarrassed] All right. I'm not against a little quid pro quo. Not at all. Not at all.
Stiles: [to Parrish] You. You, I like you! I'm gonna keep you!

Malia: I'm sorry.
Derek: There's nothing to be sorry about. If they don't want to be found, then we're not going to find them. Some werewolves have an ability, a kind of mastery over their bodies where they can actually inhibit their scent.
Malia: They can hide from other werewolves?
Derek: From anyone who's trying to find them.

Malia: Maybe we need to try something different. Maybe we need to think like Stiles.
Derek: Like a hyperactive spazz?

[Liam has a flashback to his first full moon]
Liam: I jumped through the window?
Scott: The cuts healed while you were changed.
Liam: I guess that's one good thing.
Scott: For you. For someone else, it could be really bad. We need to figure out how you can get a grip on this.
Liam: I've been trying to do that for years.
Scott: What does your dad say?
Liam: He says when kids get angry, they deal with it in one of two ways. They either hurt themselves, or they hurt someone else.

[Malia and Derek have just found nearly a dozen members of Satomi's pack dead in the woods]
Malia: What happened?
Derek: [horrified] I think they might have been poisoned.
Malia: That's great. If assassins with guns don't get you, then the ones with wolfsbane poison will. Or, maybe one with no mouth. Maybe we should all be running from Beacon Hills. Running for our lives. As fast as we can.

Stiles: Okay, well, we know one thing-- both of the first two keys, "Allison" and "Aiden," they're both names of the dead. Right?
Lydia: But, we've already tried every other dead person's name we could think of. And, if you haven't noticed, there were a lot of tries.

Scott: I don't want to keep watching people die.
Argent: I'm not sure you have much choice about that.
Scott: Maybe I do.
Dr. Deaton: That's a lot of burden to carry, Scott.
Scott: I don't care. No one else dies. Everyone on that list, everyone on that deadpool... It doesn't matter if they're wendigos, or werewolves, or whatever. I'm gonna save everyone.

Kate: Stop pitching and just tell me what you want.
Peter: Obviously, we're in a position of mutually-assured destruction.
Kate: [smiles] Oh, I'm not so sure the scales are that balanced. [The berserkers growl behind her, scaring Peter]
Peter: ...Probably true. But, I know you want to get the family back together again. The return of the Argents to their glorious power. Am I right? But, you know, you can't go back unless you can exhibit absolute and total control. I can offer control. I can teach you.
Kate: So, you're willing to teach me in order to get what you want. Which is what?
Peter: Obviously, I want my money back.
Kate: Mmm, that's not it. Maybe part of it, but that's not all you want.
Peter: I need the money, yes. But, I'll admit, money only gets you so far. What I want is what I've always wanted... Power.

Weaponized [4.07]

edit
[Scott and Stiles are listening to a cassette tape they found in Garrett's bag of money, which has instructions from the Benefactor]
Man on tape: After entering the IP address, you will be connected through a darknet portal to an untraceable bank. Once logged in, enter your account number to receive wire transfers. The IP address will deactivate with each transfer. You will be assigned a new IP address if you choose to continue down the list. Remember, visual confirmation is always required for payment.

Scott: I don't understand any of this. Why would someone use all this money just to kill us?
Stiles: Someone wants you dead, dude. Badly.

[Stiles, Scott, Malia and Kira are about to take the PSATS]
Kira: Where's Lydia?
Stiles: She took it her freshman year.
Malia: Does that mean I could have taken it some other time?
Scott: Malia, you studied harder for this than any of us!
Malia: Doesn't mean I'm going to do good.
Stiles: "Well."
Malia: [confused] Well, what?
Stiles: It's "do well," not "good."
Malia: [panics] Oh, god!

Stiles: Bet they're thinking smallpox.
Simon/The Chemist: Not likely. Smallpox was eradicated worldwide in 1979. We've only managed to completely eradicate two viruses in history. The other was rinderpest. It killed cows.
Stiles: So, we should be comforted by that, right?
Simon/The Chemist: Unless it's something worse.

[Dr. Deaton and Satomi are discussing the virus that has killed many members of her pack]
Deaton: How does it begin?
Satomi: With fever. Then, shifting becomes uncontrollable. Fangs, claws, even full, unwarranted transformations. We moved into the woods when that began. Then, it progressed faster and faster. They couldn't stand. But worse than that was this sudden blindness.
Deaton: [concerned] Total?
Satomi: They couldn't see a thing. From there, they had only a few minutes left.

[Melissa has just awakened Braeden so she can ask her and Derek questions about what killed Satomi's pack members]
Melissa: Braeden, look at me. You were shot, but you're in the hospital now, and you're fine. Do you understand? Good. Last night, you were in the woods, and you came across another pack? Do you know what happened to them?
Derek: I told you, they were poisoned.
Braeden: [shakes her head] No. No, they were infected. It was a virus designed to kill werewolves. And it did. It killed them all.

[Lydia is at the lake house with a box of Meredith's belongings from Eichen House. She tries to contact her with her banshee powers]
Lydia: All right, Meredith. I'm not sure how to do this. I'm not a psychic. And apparently, I'm not much of a banshee, either. But, I'm trying to help my friends. I don't know if you can hear me. Or, uh, what I'm supposed to ask you. But, if I have this thing, it's got to work some of the time. It's gotta help someone. Maybe what I really wanted to say was... I'm sorry. I wish I could have helped you. I'm sorry.

[Malia and Kira are waiting to get their blood drawn for testing]
Malia: Kira, do you ever get the feeling that Scott and Stiles aren't telling you everything?
Kira: [anxious] What do you mean?
Malia: Like, they hide stuff.
Kira: I think if they did, they'd probably have a good reason...
Malia: [sighs] Do you know what they're hiding in the bag under Scott's bed?
Kira: [awkward] What? No, I've never been under Scott's bed. Or in it. Just on it... wearing clothes.

Agent McCall: I heard smallpox. Any truth to that?
Sheriff Stilinski: You want my opinion? I don't think the Orphans were the only professional killers in Beacon Hills.

Malia: I know you think you're trying to protect me, but I can handle it. I know I'm on the list.
Stiles: [anxious] ...Yes.
Malia: So, how much?
Stiles: How much what?
Malia: How much am I worth?
Scott: ...Four million.
[Malia makes a face. Scott and Stiles look concerned]
Stiles: Are you okay?
Malia: Yeah. Scott's worth twenty-five, Kira, six. They'll take you guys out way before me!
[Kira and Scott gives Stiles a look, but he shrugs]
Stiles: That's progress. That's progress.

Scott: [about Malia] We need to tell her the truth about Peter. She's going to see the rest of the deadpool eventually.
Stiles: Try to remember that Peter is the one name missing on that list. Which either makes him incredibly lucky or the Benefactor. If she finds out about him, she's going to go to him. You know she is. And then, he's going to twist his way into her head like he does with everyone, including us. We let him walk around like nothing ever happened, like he's one of the good guys, but Scott, he's not one of the good guys. If she finds out about him, she's gone. That's probably what he's waiting for. And then he wins, we lose.
Scott: We're already losing.

Stiles: I gotta leave for a few, okay?
Malia: Where are you going?
Stiles: Whatever's happening, it's worse for you guy. That means it's not just people getting sick, it's another assassin. [He sees that Malia is cold and covers her up with his jacket] Here.
Malia [sniffles] You're coming back, right?
Stiles: [smiles] Yeah. Yeah, I'd never leave you behind.

Braeden: What are you still doing here?
Derek: I'm protecting my investment. I've got a lot of money riding on you!

Sheriff Stilinski: Lydia... As all of this is still very new to me, and I don't know how it works, I still have to ask-- do you have any kind of... indication? Any kind of feeling about this? Is someone in there going to die?
Lydia: [scared] Yes. And it's not just a feeling.

[Stiles has just figured out that Coach originally got sick by touching an ink pad that was infected with the canine distemper virus when the Chemist arrives and points a gun at him]
Simon/The Chemist: I was wondering how that idiot got sick. I'm also wondering where your friends are... Since, in order to get paid by the Benefactor, I need to have proof that they're dead.
Stiles: [gets a dawning realization] Visual confirmation.
Simon/The Chemist: [smirks] Exactly!

Simon/The Chemist: Still a bit feverish, Mr. Stilinski? But, you should know something-- the virus doesn't kill humans. You'll get better. So, don't you think you should tell me where they are? Shouldn't one of you get to live?
Stiles: I think I saw them in the library. Or it might've been the cafeteria. It was definitely one of those two.
Simon/The Chemist: [aims his gun at Stiles] I'm going to count to three, and then I'm going to kill you.
Stiles: [furiously] You think you can scare me?
Simon/The Chemist: No, I think I can kill you. I just thought the countdown would make it more exciting.

[When another assassin comes and starts shooting at Derek and Satomi, Satomi pulls out her silver spike, dodging all of the assassin's bullets until she's able to stab her in the neck. Afterward, she spins the spike in her hand and looks back at a stunned Derek, Melissa, and Deaton]
Satomi: I may have learned to control my anger, but I still know when to use it.

Time of Death [4.08]

edit
[Agent McCall takes out his cell phone and records his incident report after having to shoot and kill the Chemist that night]
Agent McCall: Preliminary notes on firearm discharge incident. Assailant armed with sound-suppressor-equipped Walther P88. Having heard the perpetrator's threat and countdown, I made visual confirmation of the barrel of the weapon pressed to the potential victim's head. Determining the danger to be imminent, I felt no other choice but to respond with the use of deadly force.

Agent McCall: [to Scott] One more thing... when I do come back, we have to talk about some stuff. You and your friends, the way you guys handle things? It doesn't seem to faze you like it should. It's like you guys know something I don't. When I come back, I'd like to be in the know.

Liam: Are we really doing this?
Scott: We're doing it. Tonight.
Liam: But, isn't it kind of dangerous?
Stiles: It's incredibly dangerous and borderline idiotic.
Liam: Have you guys done something like this before?
Stiles: Something dangerous, or something idiotic?
Kira: [to Liam] I think it's a yes to both.
Scott: [to Liam] You don't have to be part of it if you don't want to.
Liam: I'm not scared.
Stiles: [winks] Then you're borderline idiotic!

[Braeden is peeking at Derek's bullet graze wound while he's asleep, which wakes him up]
Derek: What are you doing?
Braeden: Protecting my investment.

Liam: So, you've done this before, right?
Noshiko: I've seen it done.
Liam: [nervously] Is that just as good?
Noshiko: ...No.
Kira: Mom, you're not inspiring confidence!
Noshiko: Good! This is a terrible idea!

Scott: Hold on. What happens while I'm out? Am I gonna feel anything?
Noshiko: It might feel like you're dreaming.
Scott: [anxious] Good dreams, or bad?
Noshiko: I suppose that depends on you.

[Stiles and Argent, who is pretending to be an assassin, have just sent the news of Scott's "death" to the Benefactor]
Stiles: That's your assassin speak?
Argent: I said he's dead. What more do you want?
Stiles: It was a little dry. You could have said something, like, "Target has been neutralized." "The crow flies at midnight," that's always cool.

Braeden: [to Derek] When you're a human facing off against the supernatural, you need to bend the rules a little bit. I'm gonna teach you how to bend.

[Scott is dreaming about being given a hit-list of assassins, including the Mute, the Orphans, and the Chemist]
Scott: I can't do that. I can't kill them.
Liam: Someone has to.
Scott: Why me?
Liam: Because you're the Alpha.
Scott: I'm not a murderer.
Liam: But you are a predator.
Scott: [struggles to find his words] No. We're predators, but we don't have to... We don't have to...

Melissa: [about their children] Why are we doing this? Why are we asking them to fight these kinds of fights?
Noshiko: Because otherwise, we'd be asking them to run and hide.

[In Scott's dream, Liam throws a lacrosse ball at Scott. Scott easily catches it, but is surprised to see that his claws are out]
Liam: [to Scott] Catch! That's why you're the Alpha.

[Scott is still dreaming and is looking at his werewolf fangs in the mirror of the locker room while Liam stands behind him]
Liam: There's something different, isn't there?
Scott: I've got more fangs. I noticed it during the quarantine. I don't know why.
Liam: Maybe it's part of being an Alpha. Like you're becoming more of a werewolf.
Scott: Or more of a monster.
Liam: What if it makes you stronger? What if it's like you're growing?
[Suddenly, the Mute appears behind them and hits Liam in the back with his axe]
The Mute: Evolving.

[Braeden is teaching Derek to use weapons]
Braeden: This is a Sig Sauer P226 9mm.
Derek: I don't like guns.
Braeden: That's because you've never learned to use one.
Derek: ...Or, because I've been shot. Repeatedly.

Peter: [to Malia] You know what happens when you only hear one side of a story? You've only heard one side of the story.

Noshiko: I'm guessing the power doesn't go out often in this hospital.
Melissa: Only when under attack by supernatural creatures.

Malia: You murdered people. Not killed, murdered.
Peter: There were extenuating circumstances.
Malia: Like what? The fire?
Peter: A fire that nearly burned me alive. Six years in a coma. Do you know what it's like for one of us? It's not a pleasant sleep. Imagine it: being trapped in your body, but still being fully cognizant. Unable to do anything other than listen to your own thoughts slowly driving you absolutely and totally insane. Minute-by-minute, day-by-day. Yes, I've done horrible, terrible things. And so have a lot of people. And horrible, terrible things are going to keep happening. Especially when there's a deadpool with your name on it.
Malia: But not yours.
Peter: True. But, I am not the Benefactor. I'm just a guy who's out millions of dollars, a few thousand of which I used trying to help you.

Malia: What could you ever do for me?
Peter: Help you find your mother. I'm pretty interested myself, as the memory was stolen from me by my sister, Talia.
Malia: Okay. What did you find?
Peter: A woman. Might be her. I don't have a name yet, just a particularly interesting alias. She's called the Desert Wolf. Do you know what that means?
Malia: [surprised] Coyote.

Stiles: Hey. Where have you been?
Malia: Talking to Peter.
Stiles: [hesitates] Okay. You think that's a good idea?
Malia: If he can help me find my mother, I don't think I care.

Stiles: [about Peter] You might be related to him, but you're not like him.
Malia: Maybe I am. That night I caused the car crash...
Stiles: You mean when you were out of control on the full moon?
Malia: There's a part I didn't tell you about. Right before we got in the car, my mother-- my adoptive mother, I guess-- we got in a huge fight. I don't even remember what it was about, but I remember what I said.
Stiles: Malia...
Malia: [near tears] I said, "I wish you were dead."
Stiles: Killing doesn't run in a family.
Malia: Maybe it does in mine.

Kira: I just wish it had all worked. It was a good plan.
Scott: Yeah, I've been thinking about that, too. And actually, I think maybe it did work. Not that I know exactly who the Benefactor is, but we might know a lot more about him now.
Kira: But no one came. And, no one got visual confirmation, right?
Scott: That's why it might have worked. Think about it-- who has the power to know when someone's dead, but doesn't need to see the body to know it happened?
Kira: [has a dawning realization] A banshee.

Perishable [4.09]

[Jordan Parrish has just come to Derek, Scott, and Lydia for help after Deputy Haigh tried to kill him by setting him on fire for the deadpool money]
Derek: [incredulously] He covered you in gasoline?
[Parrish nods, and Derek looks over at Lydia]
Lydia: It's the hair and nails, isn't it? The parts of the body that are essentially dead.
Derek: Well, they should be gone.
Parrish: I was set on fire. All of me should be gone.
Scott: [sheepishly] Not if you're like us.

Parrish: Okay, hold on. What's a bestiary? Actually, that's not even my first question. Just--Just tell me one thing. Are all of you like Lydia? Are you all psychic?
Derek: [amused] Psychic?
Parrish: Yeah...
Scott: Not exactly.
Parrish: Okay, then what are you?
[Scott flashes his red eyes at Parrish]

Sheriff Stilinski: I keep things from you because you don't need to know everything.
Stiles: Yes, I do! I have to know everything. How the hell else am I supposed to take care of you?
Sheriff Stilinski: You're not supposed to take care of me! I'm the dad. You're the son. You get it? Dad. Son. I take care of you.
Stiles: [sad] We're supposed to take care of each other.

Parrish: [confused] What's a kanima?
Scott: ...We'll get back to that. Just know that everyone like us, everyone with some kind of supernatural ability, is on the deadpool.
Parrish: But I don't even know what I am.
Derek: I'm pretty sure they don't care.

[Lydia is telling Derek, Scott, and Parrish about her grandmother, Lorraine, her partner, Maddy, and her connection to Meredith]
Parrish: How did she die?
Lydia: How's not the story-- it's what happened right before. My grandmother, Lorraine, used to work in San Francisco for IBM. She was there on a weekend, catching up on work. She started hearing this sound... like, rain. But, when she looked out the windows, all she saw was blue sky.
Scott: But she kept hearing the rain?
Lydia: And it just kept getting louder. Rain, and thunder, cracking like gunshots in her head. So loud, she finally just screamed.
Derek: Like a banshee...

Lydia: It took them four days to find Maddy's body. And then, it took decades to figure out how Lorraine knew. She started with parapsychologists, like the Ph.D in their name made it more scientific. They built the study in the lake house according to every pseudoscientific theory they could find. None of it worked. So, then, she started going to more extreme occult. Things like mediums and psychics-- all of them were failures... until she found Meredith. They found her in Eichen House. This fragile girl who didn't understand the things she heard. They brought her to the study, and they almost killed her. She was hospitalized for over a year. She... never really recovered. My grandmother drove her insane, and I drove her to suicide. And all she ever wanted to do was help. My grandmother created the code for the deadpool. They think she's the banshee who put the names on it in the first place. She left me this message in the same code.

Derek: Whatever Kate did to me, it's still happening.
Scott: If the deadpool really was made by a banshee, then there's something else that you should know about... Your name broke the third list. It was a cipher key.
Derek: ...And the two other keys were Allison and Aiden.
Scott: And, I... I don't want to make you nervous, but it kind of feels like there might be a pattern there, doesn't it? Allison. Aiden. ...You.
Derek: Names picked by a banshee.
Scott: It could mean that you're in danger.
Derek: [sympathetically] Scott, banshees don't predict danger. They predict death.

[Mason is convincing Liam to come to the bonfire]
Mason: You're coming! And, we're gonna find you a nice girl that you can embarrass yourself in front of, and find me a lacrosse player. Because statistically speaking, someone on your team has gotta be on my team, right?

Stiles: What do you remember doing with your grandmother? You know, what was your guys', like, special thing? Did you guys go to the beach? You know, did you like ice cream, or...
Lydia: ...We read.
Stiles: Okay, what did you read?
Lydia: The Little Mermaid.
Stiles: [confused] You read that movie?
Lydia: [annoyed] It was a book first!

Liam: Not gonna tell me to slow down?
Mason: Actually, I was gonna say, "Keep drinking." I think you should get drunk. And, I mean stumbling down, fall on your ass, passed out with your face in a toilet drunk.
Liam: [laughs] Why?
Mason: Maybe then, when I ask you what's going on, you'll be too drunk to lie. I'm not asking this because I want to know. I'm asking because I want to help.

[Braeden uses her U.S. Marshal badge to question Deputy Haigh on his attempted murder of Jordan Parrish]
Deputy Haigh: And who the hell are you?
Braeden: Hello, Deputy. I'm a U.S. Marshal working in conjunction with this office, and I'd like to ask you a few questions.
Deputy Haigh: Yeah, well, I got a question-- How'd you get those scars?
Braeden: [shrugs] A werewolf. How'd you break your nose?
Deputy Haigh: [confused] What's that supposed to--
[Braeden punches Haigh in the face]

[Brunski is playing the tape of Lorraine's murder to Lydia and Stiles, who are tied up]
Stiles: Lydia, look at me. Don't listen. Okay? Don't listen to it. Just focus on my voice, Lydia. Don't listen to it, block it out. Okay?

[Parrish has just saved Lydia from being killed by Brunski by shooting him]
Lydia: He--He killed my grandmother. He was controlling Meredith.
Stiles: He used her to create the deadpool.
Lydia: And killed her when she tried to help us.
Brunski: [coughs up blood] You...You think it was me? That I was controlling her? Idiots... She was controlling me.
Lydia: Oh, god. It's not him. He's not the Benefactor.
Meredith: [comes out of the shadows] No. And he wasn't on my list... but he was a bad person.

Monstrous [4.10]

edit
Liam: I'm not like you.
Scott: [sympathetically] Not yet.
Liam: I don't mean I'm not strong, or I'm never gonna learn how to be in control. I mean everything else. You and your friends try to protect everyone. Have you been doing this the whole time? I mean, how are you still alive?
Scott: [sighs] Not all of us are.

[Sheriff Stilinski has just finished trying to interview Meredith and joins Lydia outside his office]
Lydia: What did she say?
Sheriff: Hard to tell. There were words. I'm not sure there were actual sentences.
Lydia: So... nothing.
Sheriff: I think we need a psychologist. Or a medium.
Lydia: Is she even competent enough to be charged with a crime?
Sheriff: If Meredith is the Benefactor, then that means she was competent enough to trick Kate into opening the Hale vault, competent enough to blackmail Brunski into helping her, and competent enough to create a hit list and pay out money for it's completion. This girl's practically a criminal mastermind.

[Malia has come to Stiles' hospital room to visit him]
Malia: I heard you almost got killed.
Stiles: I heard you almost got killed.
Malia: You okay?
Stiles: Brunski punched me in the face. Turns out, he was a serial killer.
Malia: [unfazed] Makes sense.

Malia: [about Melissa] Why would she lock the door?
Stiles: Maybe she didn't mean to.
Malia: You don't just accidentally lock a door.
Stiles: Okay, well, maybe she wasn't thinking, exactly? Or wasn't thinking it through? You know, people sometimes do things without thinking them through.
Malia: Then she's stupid.
Stiles: No, even smart people can do stupid things! You know, 'cause they think that it's the right thing. And, I don't think we should hold it against her, you know, for the rest of her life! Especially because she's tried apologizing hundreds of times through texts and voicemails...

Malia: I don't have much practice in things like forgiveness. Some things I'm picking up fast. But other things are like...
Stiles: Like math?
Malia: [sighs] I hate math.
Stiles: You hate me?
Malia: I like you, Stiles. I like you a lot.
Stiles: [smiles] I can work with that.

Lydia: I think I'm getting an idea of how all this happened. You used Brunski, right? You knew he'd killed people, and that he would do it again. He used my grandmother's code for the deadpool. He put it online. He took the money from the Hale vault, then turned the bearer bonds into cash. He made the payments. Was it Brunski's idea to fake your death? Did he get nervous because you helped us with one of the cipher keys?
Meredith: I wanted to help.
Lydia: All you ever wanted to do was help. Is that why you're here? I know you wouldn't want to be here if you didn't want to talk.
Meredith: I do. But, only to one person.
Lydia: Who?
Meredith: Peter. Peter Hale.

Braeden: Scott, you heard anything from Stiles or Lydia yet?
Scott: Lydia's still talking to Meredith. Stiles and Malia are headed to the lake house. They're trying to stop it.
Brett: What if there is no stopping it? What if it doesn't end until we're all dead?
Derek: Then let's send a message. Let's make something perfectly clear to anyone with a copy of that list. It doesn't matter if they're professional assassins, hunters, or an amateur with a gun: anyone who thinks they can hunt and kill us for money is gonna be put on another list-- our list. They get to be a name on our deadpool.

Argent: "Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, the truth." What exactly does that mean?
Satomi: The truth cannot stay hidden.
Argent: I know what the saying means. What does it mean for you?
Satomi: The truth for me is that we-- my kind-- are violent creatures who eventually will not be able to control their violent impulses. The mantra helps us subdue our nature.
Argent: But you're still violent creatures.
Satomi: [gives him a look] Aren't we all?

[In flashback, Peter is telepathically ranting to Meredith, who is in the bed next to him at the hospital]
Peter: I predicted this. I told Talia this was going to happen. Something like this was going to happen. I said that they were gonna come for us. The Argents, they're gonna come for us. They are gonna burn us to the ground. Burn us to the ground. Did she listen? Of course not. Did anyone listen? They listened to her. Yes! She said that everything was going to be fine. That we were all perfectly safe. Perfectly safe. But she made us weak! She made us weak. And what happens to the weakest in the herd? They get picked off by the predators! We used to be the apex predators, until Talia turned us into sheep.

Peter: [ranting in flashback] But I'll start over. Like a vengeful god, I will raze this earth to the ground. Raze this earth. I will take out all of them! Not just the wolves, but the wendigos, the banshees... every shapeshifter. I will obliterate the weak, and I will remake the supernatural of Beacon Hills in my image! I won't have to do any of it myself, because I'll hire people. Assassins. Professional killers. People like the Mute, the Chemist, even... someone like the Desert Wolf. I'll use the money in the vault, the bearer bonds. I'll use every penny if I have to. I'll start with the professionals, and then maybe I'll disseminate the list further. No. No, not a list. A deadpool. Eventually, everyone will want a chance. Anyone can become a killer for the right price, because when it comes down to it, everyone can be corrupted by money!

Sheriff Stilinski: She was listening to you.
Peter: She was listening to the ranting and raving of a lunatic. [He realizes he just insulted himself] A former lunatic. I'm much healthier now.

Peter: Lydia's right. We don't want to kill each other.
Sheriff Stilinski: The only person I'm pointing a gun at is you.
Peter: Then, you better make it a perfect shot, Sheriff, because I don't go down easy.
Sheriff: [cocks gun] I'm willing to bet that a bullet between the eyes doesn't heal real fast, even for your kind.
Lydia: Stop. Please, stop.
Peter: This department's getting more corrupted by the second. What are you gonna charge me with, Sheriff? How are you going to explain this to a judge? "Telepathic girl overhears thoughts of comatose werewolf and decides to enact his plans for retribution?" Hmm. [He clicks his tongue] They're gonna be pointing a gun at your head and asking you to go quietly.

[Lydia is video-calling Stiles and Malia to figure out how to shut down the deadpool]
Stiles: Lydia, what the hell does wine have to do with anything?
Lydia: Red wine doesn't just disappear... Unless it wasn't wine.
Stiles: What? What do you mean?
Lydia: The ashes weren't ashes, the study isn't a study, the record player isn't a record player, so... So, maybe the wine wasn't wine.

Lydia: Are you okay? I guess you are, aren't you? For someone who'd put their own name on a hit list...
Meredith: I had to.
Lydia: Why?
Meredith: Because I heard you. I heard you scream in the tunnels at Oak Creek. [Lydia flashes back to when Allison was killed and she wailed for her death] That's why I knew it was the right time to start over.
Lydia: But with Peter?
Meredith: He's the alpha. He's always been the alpha. He'll make it right. It never was with us. Too many people die because of us. We're the monsters. Even banshees. Even me.
Lydia: [shakes her head] I don't believe that. Not all monsters do monstrous things.
Meredith: Like who?
Lydia: Like Scott.
Meredith: Like you.

Kate: You look nervous.
Peter: I'm not nervous. I'm rattled. I don't like being rattled.
Kate: But, it's over. The deadpool's done. And, if you need to be reminded, everything else is going exactly your way.
Peter: Not exactly my way.
Kate: [rolls her eyes] Maybe every little piece in your game didn't move just as predicted, but they still moved perfectly into place. [She notices his hesitance] You wanna bail on the plan.
Peter: Of course not. Not when I'm this close. Not when I'm this close to killing Scott McCall.

A Promise To The Dead [4.11]

[Patrick Clark, a wendigo, has just abducted a woman in a body bag and has brought her to his meat freezer, which is full of bloodied knives]
Patrick: It's Calissa, right? I guess you're coming to a certain conclusion-- you're not going to be leaving here. It's okay that you're scared. See, contrary to traditional culinary practices, it actually tastes better for someone like me when the kill's been frightened.

[Patrick has just surrendered to Dr. Deaton in a fight before he can kill Calissa]
Patrick: Okay, wait! Stop! The deadpool's over. You're not going to get paid! It's over.
Deaton: I'm not here to kill you, Patrick. I'm taking you back to Eichen House, where they know all about your "culinary practices."

Deaton: I was hoping we could talk. My name is Dr. Alan Deaton.
Dr. Valak: Oh, I know your specialty, Dr. Deaton, and I know it's not cats and dogs.
Deaton: I'm here because of what you know about South American mythology.
Dr. Valak: No. You want to know about Kate Argent. You want to know about La Loba, the Bone Woman.
Deaton: I need to know what she did to Derek Hale. And, if he's dying.
Dr. Valak: Why?
Deaton: Because of a promise I made to a woman I loved.

Melissa: Scott, you can save people's lives, but you cannot save them from life. Life is full of struggle.

[Scott has just returned the money he found in Garrett's locker to Derek and is surprised to see that he doesn't actually care about it]
Derek: [shrugs] Okay.
Scott: Don't you want to know why it took so long to return it?
Derek: How much do you make at the animal clinic?
Scott: ...Minimum wage?
Derek: That's why. Everyone can be tempted, Scott. Even a True Alpha.

Kira: It's over. The computers are off. No more assassins. No more murders. No one's dying.
Lydia: Not yet...

Scott: [to Liam] If you don't want to be with us, that's okay. But don't push your friends away, too.

[Kira and Scott plan on watching Star Wars]
Scott: So, this is the fourth one?
Kira: No, it's the first one, even though it says fourth.
Scott: Then, what's the first one?
Kira: The fourth one. [Scott looks confused] You know what? Forget the movie.

Mason: [to Liam] I know something's going on. I know you don't want to talk about it. But you're still my best friend. And, um, considering the fact that the last good friend I made turned out to be a professional killer, I'm thinking that I don't have too many options for new ones. So, when you're ready to talk, talk. Until then, I know I can kick your ass at at least one of these games.

Scott: What do you want from us?
Kate: I want a little bit of insight, Scott.
Scott: [confused] To what?
Kate: My family. The Argent family has been around for over four hundred years. A powerful, wealthy, aristocratic family of werewolf hunters. But yet, somehow, in less than a year, this great family is decimated by a teenage boy. So, my question is simple-- what the hell is so special about Scott McCall?

Scott: You want me? Take me. Just me.
Kate: [smirks] No, we're all going. We're all going to church!

Peter: If you want to have a clandestine meeting, you need to choose a clandestine location.
Malia: After what happened with you and Meredith, I'm pretty sure I can do without any kind of one-on-one father-daughter time.

[Brett catches up with Liam in the locker room after the game]
Brett: You okay?
Liam: [bummed] We lost.
Brett: But you're okay, right?
Liam: [confused] Why'd you do that? Why'd you help me?
Brett: Because of Scott. He saved me. He saved all of us. Do you know how lucky you are?
Liam: What do you mean?
Brett: Scott's a True Alpha. That means he didn't get his power because he was born with it. He didn't get it by stealing or killing someone. He earned it. You're not strong because you can lift a lot of weight now. You're strong because you endure. Satomi calls it "strength of character." You're lucky to have him. [He leaves]
Liam: [quietly] Then why isn't he here?

[Parrish is trying to save Argent from dying from his wounds after Peter impaled him and pinned him to a wall in the sewer]
Parrish: You know what you need? Adrenaline. There's two ways to get it-- fear, and anger. Since you don't look like a guy who's afraid of anything, you need to get angry. You need to get so angry that your brain lets loose every bit of adrenaline it has left.
Argent: [fading] I'm too tired to be angry.
Parrish: Okay, I don't know much about you, or what you've been through. But, Lydia told me some of it. And I know about Allison. I know how she felt about Scott. And, I think if she knew what was happening to him, she'd be pretty angry. At least angry enough to try one more time to get the hell out of here. So, whatever trigger you need-- if it's Allison, or your sister, or Peter-- use it. Use it right now!

[Kate has Scott bound on an altar in the basement of La Iglesia]
Kate: Tell me, Scott-- they ever teach you the myth of Artemis and Actaeon in school? No? I didn't think so. Well, Artemis was a goddess, and Actaeon was a hunter that happened to see Artemis bathing naked one day. This did not make the goddess too happy. In fact, she was so angry, Artemis turned Actaeon into a deer, and this sent his own hounds into a frenzy. He was actually torn apart by his own hunting dogs.
Scott: [scared] What are you doing?
Kate: Oh, I'm not gonna turn you into a deer! But, you are about to become something unrecognizable to your friends. They won't know what they're fighting. Or killing.

Smoke & Mirrors [4.12]

edit
[Kate and her berserker have found Kira in the tomb of La Iglesia. Kira notices the armband tattoo on the berserker and realize that it's Scott]
Kira: What did you do to him?
Kate: How. That's... that's the better story. You see, when I first got away from the Calaveras, I had no idea where to go. But, something kept pulling me back here, to the temple of Tezcatlipoca. His name means "smoking mirror," and this place is the Temple of the Smoking Mirror. Obsidian. When I got here, I found the berserkers waiting for me. They helped me survive. I didn't know quite why until just recently. Until I decided to trust someone I never thought I'd trust. It was then that I found out I could not only control the berserkers, but I could create them. They call me La Loba, the Bone Woman. Did you know that Scott became an Alpha without having to kill? He's been through quite a lot without ever having to kill. I think it's time to change that.

Stiles: Dad, Scott and Kira have been kidnapped and taken to Mexico, okay? I think that's a pretty good reason for a trip to Mexico!

Sheriff Stilinski: Even if Deaton is right about this, the best thing to do is to go through the proper channels. That means calling the right law enforcement agencies, border patrol, putting out an all-points--
Stiles: Dad, I can't just wait around for the wheels of bureaucracy to start spinning in five different government offices, okay? Someone needs to go down there right now, find them, and rescue them. I'm going!
Sheriff Stilinski: I can keep you from going.
Stiles: I'd find a way.
Sheriff Stilinski: I can throw you in a cell.
Stiles': I'd still find a way.
Sheriff Stilinski: Stiles, please. Just give me a little more time to verify something a little concrete than a psychic vision by some guy with a third eye!

Braeden: Do you really think you won't be coming back?
Derek: [sighs] Not alive.
Braeden: You know I'm not okay with that!
Derek: I am. If it saves Scott and Kira.

Peter: Killing a berserker is next to impossible. It's not just the firepower, it's breaking the animal spirit from the human.

Stiles: Oh, Liam, go home. You're not coming with us.
Liam: Why not?
Stiles: Because it's a full moon, and I don't feel like driving all the way down to Mexico just to have you rip my throat out.
Liam: You can lock me up, right? Chain me down to the backseat or something?
Malia: You tore through the last chains, remember?
Stiles: Yeah, we would have to freeze you in carbonite to get you down there.
Liam: [shrugs] Okay, then where do we get carbonite?
Stiles: [appalled that he hasn't seen Star Wars] Seriously? You haven't seen it either?

Peter: Remember what we're dealing with. It's not just Kate, it's berserkers. You might see human eyes behind those skulls. Do not assume that there's any humanity left. [...] A reminder to everyone-- you do not fight berserkers to survive-- you fight to kill.

Peter: You worried about Stiles?
Malia: I'm worried about everyone.
Peter: Do I need to be worried about you? We have to go through the berserkers to get to Kate. Then, we have to go through Kate to get to Scott and Kira. Trust me, it's going to get messy.
Malia: Scott says we don't kill people.
Peter: You think Scott wouldn't kill to save Kira? Would you kill to save Stiles?

[Kira, who has been stabbed in the chest, is fading fast and is crying in fear. Suddenly her mother's astral projection comes to comfort her]
Noshiko: It's all right to cry. It's no measure of your strength.
Kira: But I'm not strong. I need to get up. I need to tell them...
Noshiko: How do you know you can't?
Kira: Because I'm not healing. You told me why I never get sick. And you said I'd learn to heal...
Noshiko: Then learn.
Kira: I can't. I don't know how, or where to start.
Noshiko: I told you once that foxes and wolves tend not to get along. But they are similar creatures, aren't they? You've seen wolves heal. How do they do it? Kira, how do they trigger it?
Kira: [gasps] Pain. With pain.

[Derek and Stiles are trying to help Liam with his control when the full moon rises]
Derek: Liam, you with me? We have a mantra that we use. You repeat it, you focus on the words. It's like meditating.
Liam: [struggling] Okay, okay, okay! What are the words?
Derek: Okay, look at the triskelion. See the symbol? I have a tattoo on my back, it's the same thing. Each spiral means something.
Stiles: Alpha, Beta, Omega.
Derek: It represents the idea that we can always rise to one and fall back to another. [...] All you ave to do is say the three words, and with each one, you tell yourself you're getting calmer, more in control.

Peter: You're trying to stay in control?
Malia: Trying to stay human.
Peter: That's exactly your problem. Scott has you thinking that control and humanity are the same for us. Now, let me give you some fatherly advice. If you're gonna face something as animal as a berserker and try to win, you need to focus on the animal inside you. You'll need every ounce of ferocity and savagery you can muster. You'll need it.

Liam: [sighs in relief] I can't believe I did it. For a minute there, I thought I was gonna tear the two of you apart.
Stiles: Yeah, that would have made for an awkward ride home. So, thanks.

[Sheriff has just called Stiles before they go find Kate and the berserkers]
Stiles: Hi, Dad. Okay, Dad, I know you're angry--
Sheriff: [interrupts] Oh, I'm beyond angry. I've reached a level of fury that you could not possibly comprehend.
Stiles: [sighs] Okay, well, when I get back, you can ground me.
Sheriff: Ground you? Ground you? I'm going to hobble you!

[Braeden is checking on Derek after he was stabbed multiple times by a berserker]
Braeden: Can you still pull a trigger?
Derek: Yeah...
Braeden: Alright, stay with me. You're gonna be okay.
Derek: It's a mortal wound. And right now I'm feeling pretty mortal.
Braeden: I'm not gonna let you die. [Intense growling is heard in the distance]
Derek: Uh, you might just have to concentrate on saving yourself.

[Lydia and Mason have found a collection of baseball bats in the school's basement, and Lydia has grabbed one to use as a weapon against the berserker]
Mason: Are you serious?
Lydia: Very.
Mason: A baseball bat? Against that guy? Or thing, or whatever it is?
Lydia: My friends are in trouble. And, so is Liam, your best friend. They need me. I'm going for it.
[She turns toward the berserker and twists the bat in her hands]
Lydia: And yes, with a baseball bat.

[Berserker!Scott has Liam in a choke-hold and is about to stab him]
Liam: Scott! Scott! Listen! Listen! Listen! [He takes a deep breath] You're not a monster! You're a werewolf! Like me.

[Scott has just turned back into a werewolf with Liam's help, and glares at Peter in betrayal]
Scott: You. The only one who knew as much as Argent about berserkers. About the nagaul. You taught Kate. You helped her. All for power.
Peter: For my family's power-- to be rightfully inherited by me. Not usurped by some idiot teenage boy, so incorruptible, he won't shed the blood of his enemies even when justified. You don't deserve your power. Not power like this.

Peter: You were my Beta first, Scott. It was my bite that changed your life, and my bite that can end it.
Scott: Then end it, Peter. Because you won't get another chance.

Kate: [snarls] You're next, Araya! I'm coming to kill you next.
Araya: Come, La Loba. Let me show you how the Calaveras die.

[Derek, who has just been reborn as a full black wolf, attacks Kate in his wolf form before transforming back into human form. Kate looks at him in shock and fear]
Kate: You were... you were dead.
Derek: No. I was evolving. Something you'll never do.

Scott: You were never an Alpha, Peter. But you were always a monster.

[Argent has caught up with Kate in the tomb of La Iglesia. Both of them are seriously wounded]
Kate: You want to kill me, Chris?
Argent: No. But, I don't want to save you anymore, either. I don't know that you're worth saving.
Kate: [hurt] Just like when we were kids. Always trying to make me the bad guy. You can't see them clearly anymore, can you? Scott's not your little hero. None of 'em are! Not when they killed Allison.
Argent: [furious] Allison died. She died saving her friends. Who would you die for, hmmm?
Kate: [angry] You're not gonna kill me. And, you're not gonna catch me. Not you. Not Peter. And not the Calaveras

[Everyone is regrouping outside of La Iglesia after the battle is over]
Argent: There's enough yellow wolfsbane to keep Peter out for the trip back. But be careful.
[Scott takes notice of the Calaveras, who are standing behind Argent]
Scott: You're really going with them?
Argent: I made a deal with the Calaveras weeks ago. They'll leave you alone. All of you. But only if I help them catch Kate.
Kira: What if you can't?
Argent: I'll find her. Someone has to.

Derek: So, you're not really a U.S. Marshal, are you?
Braeden: I was... But I spent too long looking for one person. It's hard to keep a job when part of it becomes an obsession.
Derek: Who were you after?
Braeden: All I know is a code name-- the Desert Wolf.

[Noshiko and Kira are meeting in Ken's office. Noshiko hands her daughter a small parcel, which she opens to find a small, black shuriken throwing star]
Noshiko: That shard of obsidian that you brought back, Kira? There's a reason you kept it. And a reason your father took the liberty of making an alteration to it. Do you know what it is?
Kira: [shocked] A tail.
Noshiko: [smiles proudly] Your first.

[Liam, Scott, and Stiles are trying to explain their extended absence to Coach Finstock]
Liam: [nervously] Then, Stiles said that Scott and Kira were stuck in Mexico, which is why they missed the game. Uh, so we went down to Mexico to drive them back from Mexico, and that's why we all missed practice. [Coach glares at him] ...'Cause... we were all in Mexico.
Coach Finstock: [to Scott] You took Kira on a date to Mexico?
Scott: [awkwardly] ...It was our first real date?
Coach Finstock: In Mexico?
Stiles: ...They wanted to do something special?
Coach Finstock: Okay. I believe you.
Liam: [relieved] Really?
Coach Finstock: Absolutely not. But, I've had experiences south of the border that would knock the genitals off you boys.

Coach Finstock: [to Scott and Stiles about Liam] Still, let me be clear to you two. This kid's the best talent I've seen in years. So, he's your responsibility now. You boys are gonna stick together. You're gonna look out for each other. And, you're gonna have each other's backs. You got it?
[Scott smiles at Liam, who smiles back at him]
Scott: We got it.

[Lydia visits Jordan Parrish at the Sheriff's station, where she lays a brown leather-bound book on his desk]
Lydia: This used to be on a hard drive, but we eventually decided it might be a good idea to have a hard copy around. So, we put it in a book.
Parrish: [confused] What is it?
Lydia: It's called the Bestiary. Whatever you are, it might be in here. I'd like to help you figure it out.
