Bowery King: I am the way into the city of woe, I am the way into eternal pain, I am the way to go among the lost. Before me there were no created things but those that last forever. AS DO I!!. Abandon all hope, you who are about to enter here... for you are now in the presence of the MOTHERFUCKING KING! [laughs, then lights a match, sets fire to a wooden block inside a canister, while holding a suit on a hanger] You ready, John?
John Wick: Yeah.
Charon: [as he dies] It was... an honor... my friend.
Winston: It should have been me.
Marquis: You're right. It should've. Now go and think about why it wasn't.
John Wick: You always have an angle, don't you?
Winston: Doesn't everyone?
Shimazu: I want you to find your peace. But a good death only comes after a good life.
John Wick: You and I left a good life behind a long time ago, my friend.
John Wick: I'm going to kill them all.
Shimazu: I believe you'll try. But no one, not even you, can kill everyone.
The Elder: None of us can escape who we are, and no one escapes the Table. And the only way John Wick will ever have freedom or peace, now or ever, is in death.
John Wick: I know.
The Elder: I'm afraid you've come all this way for nothing.
John Wick: Yeah... not really. [shoots him in the head]
Killa: So, you want to kill him. You want to kill him. I want to kill him. What about you, Mr. Wick?
John Wick: I'm going to kill you.
John Wick: Caine.
Caine: John. Saying goodbyes?
John Wick: I'm saying hello.
Caine: You think your wife can hear you?
John Wick: No.
Caine: Well, why bother?
John Wick: Maybe I'm wrong.
Caine: The dead are gone. Only the living matter. After my daughter was born, I wanted to leave this life. I thought I did.
John Wick: But you didn't.
Caine: We're damned, you and I.
John Wick: On that we agree.
Caine: My daughter's not. If it's between you and her, you're going to die.
John Wick: Maybe not.
Caine: I missed you, John. It's so good to sit with a friend.
John Wick: I'll see you tomorrow.
John Wick: Those who cling to death, live.
Caine: Those who cling to life, die.
Marquis: There is no John out there. No happy man with a normal life. There is only John Wick: The Killer.
John Wick: Yeah. And he's about to kill you.
Marquis: A man's Second, like his sponsor, either walks out with his champion or is buried beside him. The Old Ways.
Winston: Such is life.
[John is badly wounded by Caine during their showdown and the Marquis takes Caine's pistol and attempts to deliver the coup de grace to John]
Winston: You arrogant asshole. He didn't shoot.
John Wick: ...Consequences.
[John shoots the Marquis in the head, killing him instantly]
