Contributions to Muhammad

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Muhammad. They are not formatted correctly, however. See, for example, these corrections Quotes around an entire quotation are unnecessary and contrary to the guidelines for WQ formatting. Book titles should be in italics. A multiline quote will not format correctly if lines subsequent to the first do not begin with a ":". Please proofread all submission to ensure they are formatted correctly. Thanks again. ~ Peter1c (talk) 23:11, 17 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I noticed some quotes are also unsourced, and some authors do not have links to Wikipedia pages to prove notability. I am reverting all edits for now. Please re-add your submissions with more attention to WQ requirements. ~ Peter1c (talk) 23:15, 17 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I have fixed the issues. Also, I have checked the sources of the quotes listed simply under the quotes section and they are from Sunni sources. Xtremedood (talk) 00:52, 18 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the advice. Xtremedood (talk) 03:22, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
WQ:Q states that quotes about criticism of another people need to be by persons highly notable. Having an article in another Wikia is irrelevant here, Wikiquote have their own rules to set when a person is considerer notable. Maybe you were thinking about themes, in that case the notability is not that important if the quote is notable in itself. Rupert loup (talk) 04:40, 30 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
