Lovely! Thank you for sharing these three mentions. What do you think to create a page in Wikiquote namespace? I'm not sure if it is still so, but years before even the EnWP stocked such references to the project in major media outlet. Also, a link to a talk or comment page would be useful I guess. Without knowing it was actually your talk subpage, I edited that page directly to leave a thank you note. --Aphaia (talk) 23:12, 24 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Glad you liked it! I will think about moving it to a project page. Originally I just posted these at the Village Pump, and I decided to collect an archive at /Wikiquote in the news this January. The Signpost at Wikipedia has long had an "In the News" column. (The feature currently lacks a regular editor, and last appeared in the March 12 edition.)

Wikiquote gets mentioned a lot less than Wikipedia. It can take several months to accumulate two or three items worth noting, and I have never found anything that might be considered significant coverage. The current archive is just a rough assemblage. I will think about re-structuring it for project space when I post the next report. ~ Ningauble (talk) 13:14, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
