Nominating a page for deletion wthin seconds of its creation by a new contributor can be viewed as Biting a newbie. Just wondering... Ottawahitech (talk) 19:38, 6 February 2022 (UTC)

@Ottawahitech: Hi, please feel free to revert any "biting" edits from me. Since I'm a crosswiki patroller, I tag a lot of new pages, from "awaevad tetdbht rvgde to "He is a cool guy! I love him! and everything in between, for deletion daily. Being considered as a vampire sometimes is just unavoidable. NguoiDungKhongDinhDanh (talk) 19:50, 6 February 2022 (UTC)

My comment was not meant to criticize you but to help wikiquote build a welcoming environment to encourage contributions by new good faith editors. What is the point of nominating pages for deletion without giving the creator time to build their article?
