Hi Islahaddow Thanks for starting Wikiquote:SheSaid.
I have a small question: if I follow the link you provided: Wiki Loves Women it talks only about African women, but I thought this is a campaign to add any women, not just African women. Am I wrong? Thanks in advance, Ottawahitech (talk) 05:52, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hello! Thank you for contacting me and for your interest in the #SheSaid campaign. Wiki Loves Women is rooted in Africa, but not bound by African geography - there is a sister project in India, and we are more than excited for it to extend to other regions. The lack of representation of women affects all societies. The #SheSaid campaign is global, but because our roots are in Africa there is probably more coverage of African women than would be in the usual global campaign. This having been said, we want all notable women to have their voices heard on WikiQuote. So please DO add women who are notable from your region, interests, passions, etc. I hope this makes sense, and I look forward to seeing your contributions. Quarry queries edit
In my visit to enWQ I noticed the good work you are doing with some Wikidata queries (an area I am weak in but hope to get better at some point - and I will be studying yours)! Just in case you are not aware I have been doing some quarry queries described at Q:Wikiquote talk:SheSaid/Quarry tools with perhaps [1] especially useful to some of what you are doing.
