Ruth Williams Khama
editHi Emilijaknezevic,
Re your edit summery on Ruth Williams Khama: I am not sure but I think all that is left to do is making the enwp-references into enwq-references. Cheers, Ottawahitech (talk) 02:55, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @Ottawahitech:, thanks for your comment/response. If you know of something that could be improved on the page, you can do it if you want. I see the other user has moved the "quotes about the person" together with the quotes said by that person. Maybe we should let them know that it is not how it should be. On their talk page, or move/start the conversation on the article talk page. I do not know. Thanks for your initiative and your activity on this project and the SheSaid initiative. Cheers, Emilija Knezevic (talk) 23:14, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
- I wouldn't even get close to User talk:Mothusi Sekhomba, who is, I think, the one working diligently and also the one who created Ruth Williams Khama. I cannot imagine how confusing it must be for a newbie to get so many messages, and threats of deletion. I believe it is best to let them catch their breath, before contacting them. What do you think? Ottawahitech (talk) 00:26, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- I absolutely agree with you. Thanks for all your efforts to move this project in the right direction. I just added a comment to the SheSaid project talk page (did not ping anyone) pointing out exactly that. This user put a lot of work only to see the pages marked for deletion. That is not fair, to say the least. - Emilija Knezevic (talk) 00:39, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi again, just wanted to thank you again for your suggestion on the VP a few days ago. I discovered Lyanda Lynn Haupt, which is a new article that I would have probably missed had I not visited the Main Page, Just one of the perks of associating with the right people :) Ottawahitech (talk) 21:29, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

Job performance for Lemonaka
editHi Emilijaknezevic,
I am looking for a "regular user" (not an admin or another functionary) who is bold enough to contribute to the discussion at Wikiquote:Admin accountability poll#Current Admins' job performance for Lemonaka. I was wondering if you have time to get involved?
Thanks in advance, Ottawahitech (talk) 02:33, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Ottawahitech. Thank you for considering me bold. I will have a look, although I have not been very active lately. I will certainly say if I have something to say. Thanks for (again) raising your voice and fighting for what you consider right. On the other hand, I do not quite understand your point here: you can only complain about something (be it the person's language skills) with the examples of problems. If you don't have any problem to report, then there is no reason for complaining.
- I will keep an eye on the discussion to see where will it go. - Emilija Knezevic (talk) 18:31, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- I am not complaining about this or any particular admin. I am just trying to revive a page that User: Ilovemydoodle has constructed for the community to be able, amongst other things, to discuss current admins performance. I am hoping to turn this page into a regular tool for all contributors to this wiki, not just functionaries who seem to be the only ones participating in RFAs.
- I hope I am making sense. Ottawahitech (talk) 23:22, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
