I see that this page has been nominated for merging with the author's Wikiquote page. I heartily approve of the merger. Markjoseph125 (talk) 01:36, 4 March 2013 (UTC)

- I added the merger request to the author's page. This may help with the lack of discussion that has been seen. It seems like a simple enough merge - if no opposing viewpoint is proposed by June 1, 2014, assume the merge can go forth as suggested. Song of the Dragon (talk) 18:43, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
- I actually do not see the need for the merge. As this page has a fairly large number of quotes (as does the author's page already), it appears to have enough to exist as a stand-alone page, with a reference to it from the author's page. It has become customary to break out such pages from an author's page once there are a sufficient number of quotes that might support an individual page (a subjective guide to be sure - there is no hard and fast number of quotes that automatically call for a separate page). See Pickwick Papers for example, that was split out from the Charles Dickens page. ~ UDScott (talk) 19:57, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
