NPOV concern
editPer WQ:QLP "Even when well sourced, Wikiquote articles should not be created so that they serve primarily to threaten or disparage any individual or group. Articles which serve no purpose but to disparage their subject should be deleted as an attack page, according to guidance at Wikiquote:Speedy deletions.". I am concerned the selection of quote(s) and content of this page fail to present a rounded view and therefore the net result, even if not intended in good faith, possibly constitutes an attack page. With over 50% of the lead section devoted to the Epstein/Giuffre and for example military service only mentioned in passing and in relation to that context there is sufficient reason to issue a {{NPOV}}. For the avoidance of doubt what I might say privately about these matters may be different to my approach on Wikipedia. -- Djm-leighpark(a)talk 22:29, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
- I have yesterday added a Falklands War section, but probably need to do more to balance this article from an NPOV concern. There are i believe other quotes/quotes about out there, including from his ex-wife how the family seems to have successfully managed the post-divorce situation, Andrew's quotes on leaving the military and transitioning past military life. Quote's about how he claims the firm operates may also be useful. I may look at this later. -- (I formerly edited here under Djm-leighpark) DeirgeDel tac 11:50, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
- I have added another quote, the context etc. could be improved, but it gives a broader window into the subjects life and hopefully not just a small porthole. The quality isn't great but I've hit the minimum point at which I'll remove the NPOV. -- DeirgeDel tac 01:56, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
