This seems like an attempt to falsely distinguish his social media feed from the rest of his life. A position that many of his more morally conflicted supporters favor in attempting to compartmentalize the man and separate his most repugnant statements from his official position as president. Wikiquote shouldn't be party to this; if he says something racist on social media, it should go into "Racial views of Donald Trump", etc. פֿינצטערניש (talk) 13:39, 1 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I agree פֿינצטערניש, and just because Wikipedia does something wrong doesn't mean we have to repeat their mistake. Who else has a page for quotes made through a specific medium? I'm guessing the answer is no one. Should we really be distinguishing between everyone's oral and written quotations on one page, much less separate them onto different pages? Should there be pages for quotes made on the telephone or the telegraph? Do we distinguish quotes made through e-mails from text messages and chatrooms? What about a page for the most famous graffiti quotes painted on the side of a wall? Hammurabi quotes carved in stone? These are all terrible ideas.
