Fixing up

edit

I noticed that most of these quotes here need some fixing up to do. I will try to fix them up when I get the proper resources. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.19.88.63 (talkcontribs) 01:41, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Dialogue formatting

edit

I've cleanup-tagged this article because it does not follow the Wikiquote:Templates/TV shows guidelines for dialogue formatting. The very short rationale for this formatting practice, developed over a year's worth of discussions of the capabilities and limitations of MediaWiki software, is that it provides both readers and editors a clear view of quote material, which is the essential purpose of Wikiquote. Using the current format of bulletin each dialogue segment requires cramming the entire dialogue into a single line of text, making it hard to edit. This is barely acceptable for poetry, but with all the other formatting (characters, stage directions, context lines) that goes into dialogue, we can't afford to jam everything together.

I ask regular editors of this article to reformat the quotes. Let me know if you have questions or problems. Thank you. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 05:48, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
