I just now developed this set of images as a good match, and abandoned numerous ideas I had for images with this or other quotes ranked roughly equivalent to this one. I had numerous interuptions every time I began to work on finding or finishing up on things for this date — and the rather erratic pre-date blocks prevented me from editing this since yesterday, so I went on to doing work on later dates, and will try to finish up work for the month sometime in the next week or so. ~ Kalki (talk · contributions) 17:40, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

A presentation of a couple of the many alternatives I had considered, and am still considering to some extent, prior to a final decision being made...

There are pros and cons for all of these, and many others that had developed in my mind, but presently I somewhat tend to favor this final set, as I believe it evokes terrestrial, celestial and social concerns and interests well, matching Schweitzer's words with a couple birds in hand, as well as some visual evocations of spiritual presences that seem to have wide popular appeal, one of them evoking a recent film that had extreme atunement to the "Reverence for Life" which was at the core of Schweitzer's faith. ~ Kalki (talk · contributions) 18:01, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
