Your idea for providing a more automated process for changing the quotes of the day is probably a good one, and your offer to work on this is accepted. I don't believe there is an urgent need for it though, so take whatever time you need to adapt your work on the Wikipedia to the pages here, and certainly do not consider it as an immediate priority. Setting up such a system with slots for the months or year ahead, could eventually allow for more input in the general selection processes, and this would probably be a good thing. I think it would still be a good idea for the system to always be able to accommodate last minute changes by admins for the upcoming day or week ahead, especially in cases of notable events that might merit the sudden addition of quotes and the postponement of others. Natural disasters, the death of famous figures, and other important or peculiar occurrences are all things to which it I think it would be good to be able to make some response by revising selections. Thanks in advance for whatever work it takes. ~ Kalki 15:30, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for all the work today. I certainly didn't expect so immediate a transformation, but it seems to be set up well, and I've added a quote for the 31st, which is only about an hour away on the UTC. ~ Kalki 23:01, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)
