@Jaredscribe, I am a mere "regular user" who has been trying to contribute to ENWQ since 2020, I think. Again I have to admit I only read the very beginning of the attached page, and again, I liked what I saw. Please forgive me for not having time to read it all now, but if your page manages to survive, I am sure to read it all eventually.

One thing I believe this wiki is in dire need of is friendly people. The type of reception you have received at the Village pump seems to be a staple here, ensuring that those who stick around are the types who enjoy confrontation, and so insults beget insults. I catch myself getting testy because as an inclusionist myself, I get tired of having to spend so much time trying to appease all the other testy people around, when all I'm trying to do is contribute what I consider to be missing content that hopefully will enrich some's life sometime, somewhere; having to fend off hordes of deletionists; having to make my way through an environment with no policies and guidelines, with people (mostly admins) who pretend that user essays are policies.

And the worst thing is dealing with my autocomplete who has figured out that what I want to say is different than what I intend :-) Welcome to the ENWQ. Ottawahitech (talk) 06:10, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
