- I am just doing manual edits. I began with 1976, and moved down through the centuries a while before I realized I didn't need to paste into the summary for the new pages. Then I hit on the technique of opening many tabs at once on my browser, and pasting in the placeholder template and saving. I figure its a job that should be finished quickly, to get it out of the way, and I'm willing to do so. If you want to give me a bot flag for a few hours, and it wouldn't interfere with my edit count that would be okay. ~ Gandalf 08:54, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
- Since we don't give an account which cannot be distinguished from human edotor, "Gandalf" may not be granted by bot flag (I meant you may want to have another account). Also granting bot flag needs community approval. Your edits still are over 10 times per minute, and are thus flooding on RC.
