I am an educator and have taught in public schools and universities for nearly 30 years. In my work with students and teachers, I spend a great deal of time concentrating on the importance of being critical users of information. I am an advocate for the use and development of Wikipedia as a resource with k-12 students.
I am also very active in the development of social networking in schools. I believe that social networking and communication can (and should) play a vital role in public school instruction. |
