Dillon Rice (born October 15, 2002), is an American artist, producer, engineer, and all around musician. Dillon was originally born in Tampa, Florida, and shortly after moved to Media, Pennsylvania where we was raised. He now lives in Brooklyn, New York, attending Jay-Z's Roc Nation School of Music at LIU Brooklyn.

Early life

Dillon Rice was born on October 15, 2002 in Tampa, Florida.

Dillon was introduced to music at a very young age, as he grew up in his church choir and as a soloist in his adult praise team and a young child. He then transitioned over to school choir. He was chosen as one of three students in his elementary school to go and perform in a large choir around the state of Pennsylvania. After that he joined his middle school choir, winning multiple awards throughout his 3 years at Springton Lake Middle School as well as participating and being a main soloist in his select choir. He then moved on to his High School Ambassador Choir, where him and his choir won multiple awards throughout competitions in areas such as Montreal, Canada, New York City, and Williamsburg, Virginia. During high school he began recording and releasing music at the age of 15, and later started producing and making beats at the age of 17.

Education

Dillon went through schooling in the Rose Tree Media school District. He attended Media Elementary, Springton Lake Middle School, and finally graduated from Penncrest High School in the spring of 2021.

He currently attends LIU Brooklyn's Roc Nation School of Music, where he studies Music Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Production, and is on track to graduate from the university in the spring 2025.

Dillon Rice is one of the most versatile artists you will come across. He has released songs from rap, to indie, to r&b, to edm. He has multiple songs out from many genres. His singing and choir background comes out in his music today, as he sings in most tracks and utilizes vocal layering and harmonizing. Dillon also claims to freestyle all of his songs, not writing his lyrics. Dillon is known for making his own beats, as he produces and engineers his tracks all on his own.


Influences

Dillon grew up listening to and loving common pop artists such as Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, and many more like them. He still takes influence in their work, as his newer music consists of much singing. Dillon states his biggest influences in his music today are Bryson Tiller, Mac Miller, Drake, and many others.

Personal Life

When Dillon is not writing and recording in the studio, he is creating content with the brothers and their group "The Highland Bros". Dillon The Highland Bros, travel and film TikToks, Youtube videos, and vlogs. Dillon also is big into social media influencing as he works as a social media marketer and CMO at The Tetra Agency, holding a high social media following.
