Hello, my background is in oceanography, with a main interest in the Solomon Islands, where I have carried out research.

I started contributing to Wikiquote as a suggestion from a wikipedia reviewer who commented that wikiquote was a good place for some of the content in one of my Wikipedia articles.

I have discovered that Wikipedia and Wikiquote are good sources for information in anthropology, parenting and psychology. Hopefully I can help make it even better. I have some spare time free when I am away with work, as I travel with work regularly. I hope to put this time to good use editing on Wikipedia.
