Move to lateral thinking
editIt seems like a good idea to move this article to lateral thinking, since both subjects are alike, but the term lateral thinking is more familiar, is mentioned a couple of times Wikiquote already, and has its own Wikipedia article. -- Mdd (talk) 09:29, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- The quotes in the article, as it stands, only mention "sideways" thinking, but if you plan to add more quotes about "lateral" thinking then you should feel free to move it. ~ DanielTom (talk) 10:15, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- I tend to indeed move this page. The initial start of this article would have done better as Wikipedia Articles for creation (AfC) proposal, and still can be used their. However the problem here (and as AfC) is that this subject (Sideways thinking) lacks notability and quotability. As far as I can see, there is not a single book or article, which mentions this subject in its title. I did find some more quotes, but I also noticed there is no real body of knowledge around this concept. The term is sort of used as synonymous for lateral thinking, what multiple sources confirm ([1], [2]). Mdd (talk) 21:03, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
