Notability

From info on this page I can't find any clue of this person's existence on the Japanese Wikipedia. Probably our sister project needs more works or not, but at this moment its 18C Japanese haiku poets(ja) includes no such person. --Aphaia (talk)

Hoax or misrepresentation?

I consult NDL Web Authorities, and had no result for inquiry "Bufu" in 17th. There is another resemble named poet "Fufu", 1702-1762. He is somehow notable. On the other hand in my sketch websearch hasn't hit the quote on this article page. At this moment I don't think our "Bufu" as "Fufu" irl, just point out the relevance in writing - in the archaic way of Japanese writing, Fu and Bu were written down in a same manner. See also:
