1983 film directed by Irvin Kershner

edit- I am the Supreme Commander of SPECTRE, Special Executive for Counterintelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion. Yesterday morning, the American Air Force launched two cruise missiles from Swadley Air Base in Great Britain. Through the ingenuity of SPECTRE, the dummy warheads they carried were replaced with live, nuclear warheads. Your weapons of destruction are now safely in our possession and will be moved to two secret targets. Please note the serial numbers of the missiles; they will confirm the truth. Your weapons of deterrence did not deter us from our objective! A terrible catastrophe now confronts you. However, it can be avoided by paying a tribute to our organization, amounting to twenty-five percent of your respective countries' annual oil purchases. We have accomplished two of the functions that the name SPECTRE embodies: terrorism and extortion. If our demands are not met within seven days, we shall ruthlessly apply the third: revenge!
Dialogue
edit- Q: Good to see you Mr Bond, things have been awfully dull around here...Now you're on this, I hope we're going to have some gratuitous sex and violence!
- James Bond: I certainly hope so too.
- M: Too many free radicals. That's your problem.
- James Bond: "Free radicals," sir?
- M: Yes. They're toxins that destroy the body and the brain, caused by eating too much red meat and white bread and too many dry martinis!
- James Bond: Then I shall cut out the white bread, sir.
- M: Oh, you'll do more than that, 007. From now on you will suffer a strict regimen of diet and exercise; we shall purge those toxins from you!
- James Bond: Shrublands?
- M: You got it!
- [Fatima Blush lands in James Bond's arms when she water-skis up the ramp to the bar]
- Fatima Blush: Oh, how reckless of me. I made you all wet.
- James Bond: Yes, but my martini is still dry. My name is James.
- Maximilian Largo: Are you a man who enjoys games?
- James Bond: Depends with whom I'm playing.
- Maximilian Largo: Do you lose as gracefully as you win?
- James Bond: I don't know, I've never lost.
- James Bond: Is it far to the reef?
- Fatima Blush: It's far enough. We've got time to kill.
- Fatima Blush: Hold it! [points her gun at Bond] Sit up. Your gun. Carefully. Over here. Spread your legs. Good. Very good. You're quite a man, Mr. James Bond. But I am a superior woman. Guess where you get the first one.
- James Bond: Well, in view of your hatred of men...
- Fatima Blush: [enraged] LIAR! [normal] You know that making love to Fatima was the greatest pleasure of your life.
- James Bond: Well, to be perfectly honest, there was this girl in Philadelphia...
- Fatima Blush: SHUT UP! I am the best.
- James Bond: Yes. Yes, you're right. In fact, I was going to put you in my memoirs as...number one.
- Fatima Blush: Write. [keeps pointing her gun at Bond and gives the newspaper to him] Write. [Bond takes the pen-gun out of his pocket] Now write this: "The greatest rapture in my life was afforded me in a boat in Nassau by Fatima Blush. Signed James Bond, 007".
- James Bond: I just remembered...It's against service policy for agents to give out endorsements.
- Fatima Blush: WRITE!
- James Bond: Right now?
- Fatima Blush: [last words] Right now.
- [Bond shoots at Fatima. She shoots at him and misses. The pen-gun projectile seems to fail...only red ink appears on her blouse. Fatima laughs and the projectile detonates, killing her]
- James Bond: "Not perfected yet"?
- Maximilian Largo: That belonged to Napoleon's empress. That is my greatest treasure. Take it. Take it. [gives the statue to Domino] But be careful. That is your...wedding present. You betrayed me, but I forgive you.
- Domino Petachi: And what about my brother?
- Maximilian Largo: Your brother...
- Domino Petachi: I hate you. I hate you.
- [Largo kisses Domino hardly, she throws the statue and is broken to pieces]
- Maximilian Largo: Oh, Domino! Domino!
- Domino Petachi: You're crazy.
- Maximilian Largo: Yeah, maybe...I'm crazy.
- [Domino tries to slap Largo, but he stops her with his arm and kisses her hand. Largo whistles making Domino to follow him]
- [Last lines]
- [Bond pulls Nigel out from hiding in the bush and throws him into the pool]
- James Bond: Oh, no.
- Nigel Small-Fawcett: I'm sorry, Mr. Bond. Obviously caught you at a bad moment.
- James Bond: M sent you.
- Nigel Small-Fawcett: Only to plead for your return, sir. M says that without you in the service, he fears for the security of the civilized world.
- James Bond: Never again.
- Domino Petachi: Never?
- [Bond and Domino kiss]
