The Waukesha parade attack occurred on November 21, 2021, when the driver of a sport utility vehicle (SUV) killed six people and injured 62 others by hitting participants and observers at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin United States. The alleged driver of the vehicle, 39-year-old Darrell E. Brooks, was arrested and charged with five counts of first-degree intentional homicide. Authorities have not announced a motive for the attack, but believe the driver acted alone and did not know anyone at the parade.
