Usama ibn Munqidh

Arabic poet

Usama ibn Munqidh (July 4, 1095 – November 17, 1188) was a medieval Muslim poet, author, faris (knight), and diplomat from the Banu Munqidh dynasty of Shaizar in northern Syria.
