Unnatural History is a 1959 Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Abe Levitow, with a story by Michael Maltese. The cartoon is made up of blackout gags with no real story tying them together, similar to many cartoons directed by Tex Avery.

Man with Talking Dog: [to the theater agent] Well I tell ya, this mutt can really talk. Listen: What covers a house? [dog barks] See? He said "roof". What's my name? [dog barks] See? He said "Ralph". Who was the greatest baseball player? [dog barks] See? He said "Ruth".
[The agent throws the man and the dog out of his office]
Talking Dog: Maybe I should've said "DiMaggio"?
