General William R. Looney III (born 1949) is a United States Air Force general. He was Commander, Aeronautical Systems Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio (2003–2005). In 2005, he assumed the command of Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Randolph AFB, Texas.
