Thuso Nokwanda Mbedu, born 8 July 1991, is a South African actress. She was nominated for an International Emmy for her role in the drama series Is'Thunzi. She is a well established actress who has appeared on the 2018 Forbes Africa 30 under 30 list. She has managed to be a ground breaking actress by scoring international performances as in 2021, she starred in the Amazon Video limited series The Underground Railroad. She has starred in one of the movies that were directed by Holly Woods biggest stars Viola Davis in the movie Woman King.
