This is a main category requiring frequent diffusion and maintenance. As many pages as possible should be moved into appropriate subcategories.

Use this template on large categories which will require regular diffusion, and where the category tree is well developed enough, that while placement in this category may not be inaccurate, there is usually one or more child categories that would be more accurate, such that this parent category should ideally include few if any pages directly.
