Sourcing existing quotes
editI'm trying to source the two current quotes. I have an odd possibility on the "rice and salt" quote that I'll check out in the next day or so. The "engage in combat" have several less-than-ideal sources, but I may be able to pin it down to a specific page in a specific edition of Suzuki's Zen Buddhism and Its Influence on Japanese Culture with a little effort. I've added what I've found so far, which is more than we will probably ultimately need. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 21:14, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- By the way, the idea I had about "rice and salt" didn't pan out. Sorry, folks. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 17:15, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
