Sourcing existing quotes

I'm trying to source the two current quotes. I have an odd possibility on the "rice and salt" quote that I'll check out in the next day or so. The "engage in combat" have several less-than-ideal sources, but I may be able to pin it down to a specific page in a specific edition of Suzuki's Zen Buddhism and Its Influence on Japanese Culture with a little effort. The "rice and salt" episode is quite famous. "I hear that Ujiyasu and Ujizane are using salt to torment you. This is cowardly and unjust. I fight you with bouts and arrows, not with rice and salt, so I beg you henceforth to obtain salt from my lands." ~ DanielTom (talk) 16:25, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
