Ningauble writes, "disambiguation is for identifying articles, quotations belong in the articles"

It is certainly true that quotations belong in the articles, since a given Wikiquote article would be rather pointless without quotations in them.

And, it is also certainly true that disambiguation pages are for identifying articles.

That said, I see no harm in including a single quote for each link contained in each disambiguation page.  Indeed, including one quote for each indexed topic is probably a good thing, given that it helps the reader to more easily identify which link will contain the meaning for which she or he is looking.

More than three months have gone by, and still none has given any reasons why we cannot include a single quote for each link contained in this disambiguation page.  I shall wait a little longer, but if I still find a lack of objection, I shall eventually revert this disambiguation page.  Respectfully, allixpeeke (talk) 23:59, 22 January 2015 (UTC)  EDITED allixpeeke (talk) 23:34, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
