Formatting

edit

It seems that the formatting of the poems on this page is not working out. I propose two alternative formats for the sonnets; sonnets I and II are done in the first format, and sonnets III and IV are done in the second. When we decide on which one to use (or another format), it'll be no problem to edit the others. Also, maybe we should break up this page into several pages of 50 sonnets? you may use http://4umi.com/shakespeare/sonnet/ as source in case you want to add the missing sonnets without line numbers

Too much material?

edit

Does anyone else feel that it is a bit much to have every line of every sonnet? Shouldn't these instead by just a few lines from each, with pointers to Wikisource for the full sonnet? This just seems to be excessive. ~ UDScott 11:44, 24 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah I came here to say the exact same thing. This is wikisource material, we should have the potent excerpts broken out for Wikiquote. Dbergan 22:36, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Should still be trimmed quite a bit. --Nemo 21:58, 2 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
