Re-creation

This page was deleted several days ago, as well it should have been with the poor selection of quotes which that were used. I have included much more notable, colorful and interesting quotes. There are literally HUNDREDS out there, so add some please! SpartanSWAT10 09:10, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Ordinarily, a "person" article is primarily quotations by the person. This seems to be a "topic" article, where the topic happens to be a person. I am not sure these laudatory remarks about a sportsman are exactly what Wikiquote is about. There may be something to it, but let's not have hundreds, please. ~ Ningauble 17:57, 25 September 2008 (UTC)..

Then a project wide cleanup needs to be done, look at the articles of other players and they're similarly unbalanced. Whether or not that's what wikiquote is about or not, that's what it has become. I've got loads of quotes FROM Scholes to add, just haven't had as much free time in the days since the initial creation. SpartanSWAT10 22:53, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
