Talk:LGBT in Islam

Deleted quote edit

  • The cities of Afghanistan and Sind are thoroughly saturated with Persian vice [i.e., homosexuality], and the people sing 'The worth of cunt the Afghan knows Kabul prefers the other "chose!" The Afghans are commercial travelers on a large scale and each caravan is accompanied by a number of boys and lads almost in woman's attire with khol'd eyes and rouged cheeks, long tresses and henna'd fingers and toes . . . they are called Kuch-i-safari or traveling wives.
    • Burton, Richard. The Book of the Thousand Nights and a Night. 17 vols. London, n.d. 236 vol x. as quoted in Ibn Warraq, Why I am not a Muslim, 1995. p 341

Why was this quote removed? I don't see a valid reason.

Another bogus claim used for deletion of sourced content edit

I have said on another page about Rupert's deletions:

Another related bogus claim that he uses for deletions is the claim of "fabricated quote" or "failed verification" which he never proves. He made this claim on many articles like Al-Hidayh [1], but actually all the quotes were correct quotes from the Al-Hidaya, and I have been adding them later with online links to the copy to an online source. [2]

His unproven bogus claim "Fabrication not found in the given source" is also wrong.

The quote can be found here [3].

Which again proves that Rupert doesn't check anything before making these bogus claims.
