Cleanup/stub

edit

The original version of this article read more like the research notes for a school book report than a serious listing of quotations. After fixing the formatting, I deleted all of the passages that did not, in my view, meet Wikiquote's goals of originality and quotability. There is still quite a bit of work left to do; apparently chapters 1 through 4 were considered by the original editor to be devoid of interesting content, and that ought to be rectified. More to the point, most if not all of the remaining quotations ae much too short. None of them, so far as I can tell, have achieved any notoriety in the form shown here, so they really can't stand on their own: more context is needed in order to make sense of them. For these reasons, I have replaced the cleanup tag with a stub tag. I do not have a copy of this book. 121a0012 05:31, 15 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
